Awww so sorry you wasted you money on tacha there's a video by Penn Smith master esty where she shows you the tacha water cream is exactly the same ingredients as Nivea cream in the tin which you can get for £1 lol smells the same feels the same and has exactly the same ingredients too the American version of Nivea in metal tin not the English version in the plastic one so Definitely not worth the money she has video on exact dupes for really high end product and shows you both ingredients lists go check her out she's amazing

To those of you who are considering buying the cleansing balm, just a little note... The balm has natural oils in it. Which I thought means "it has natural oils in very minimal percentage, it will be fine". But actually when you open it and smell it, it smells so strongly like tea tree and bergamot, it actually makes my eyes water. And as someone who uses the balm to remove my make-up, including eye make-up, this irritates my eyes. Also, my skin kinda burns after. It's very slight irritation, but it's there. I sooooo wanted this to be my holy grail, but who the hell decided it's a good idea to put such strong oils into a cleansing balm? Why is it even there? Why does everything need to have a scent? Argh. Frustrating.

Two Questions: First, since the PURITO - Dermide Cica Barrier Sleeping Pack - 80ml is out of stock, would you recommend using the iUNIK - Centella Calming Gel Cream as the night time moisturizer like I would daytime? Second, there is a link to the SKIN&LAB - Dr. Troubless Medicica Calming Cream - 50ml in the description box, but I don't see it in the video (I may have missed it) Where does this product go in the routine? It is interchangeable/an alternative for different seasons? I.E. UNIK - Centella Calming Gel Cream, then the sunscreen in summer, more humid seasons and then the SKIN&LAB - Dr. Troubless Medicica Calming Cream - 50ml in winter, more dry seasons? I hope that makes sense. I literally just rinse my face with water and that's it and I'm a bit overwhelmed navigating what I should do/use. PLEASE DONT BUY THE HEIMISH ALL CLEANSING BALM. Yes it’s an amazing product, but it has polyethylene which is a micro plastic and is very harmful to our oceans. I recommend using the inkey list oatmeal balm it’s really nice and nothing harmful from what I can remember

Some people say it's not harmful and some do. I'm confused. The Inkey List cleansing balm doesn't work at all for me. My eye makeup doesn't melt away even though it isn't waterproof. :( Do you have any other recommendations?

Why not protect your skin, rather than use it at night to correct free radical damage that may have occurred, since using in the AM corrects AND protects? Just curious...

I’m a master esthetician of over thirty years and I’m 54. I love how excited you all are about skin. Do not use balms and don’t use coconut oil on your face. Coconut oil in its organic form will harden and clog pores. Balms do the same. Just a kind opinion from an esthetician who owns three holistic skin care salons and sees hundred of thousands of clients. You can have perfect skin but you have to be mindful of what your using. I personally can’t believe how many channels push The Oridinary🤷🏽‍♀️ it’s synthetic and if your not a chemist you can really damage your skin. We see it almost every day. I love K-beauty! Just a question I've always had about the Sioris mist. I thought order of skincare products was water-based -> anhydrous solutions -> oil-based products? If you mist your face with that first, wouldn't the oils prevent water-based products after from penetrating into the skin?

It also gives your skin time to acclimate. Either way, remember that you come first, and whether that’s putting your skin care first, or your wallet first, it’s all about what’s best for you! In the past few months I have been switching out my American products to Korean in my skincare routine..an amazing decision I have made! Hey Cassandra, thanks for this video! I wanted to point out that, be careful (as I know you are vegan) but the all cleansing balm by Heimish does contain donkey milk and therefore is not vegan!

I'm so saaddd I ordered my first order from stylevana, the product said "in stock, ships within 24 hours", i waited a month, and then got an email saying that they couldnt fulfill the order :'( I want to try ordering from them again but that wasn't a nice first experience

Autophagy was discovered decades ago, and Yoshinori Ohsumi's study for which he won the Nobel prize was about yeast cells, which has nothing to do with human cells. It's sad to see how much hype it got, particularly in the fasting industry which purposefully misinterpreted his study, although he said many times autophagy is not something you can cause or you should cause in your body. So I'm very skeptical about any skincare that claims to apply that science 🤷

During your routines, after you apply each product do you wait till it “dries” / is fully absorbed before you apply the next one?

I guess it depends? I love taking my time when applying my skincare, letting them "dry" before applying another layer. Feels like meditation, in a way 🤭 My experience is that my face feels gunky / oily when I apply another layer before the previous one "dries" up.

products works best when your face is damp!!! our skin is like a sponge so your skin has to be a little damp for the products to fully absorb :-)

I love Cassandra’s enthousiasme about Korean skincare. I recently started using Korean skincare about 3 months ago and am very happy with the results I see. Love that the products are formulated with good ingredients for a very reasonable price. I even got my 75 year old mom into using Koeren skincare. 😊 We are never going back to Paula’s Choice.

Thank You Cassandra ! I'm going to use the code and purchase maybe 3 products . I want to try the all clean balm but I'm not sure If it will clog pores ? I use Alboline for my first cleanse And It clog my pores ! Second product I will be purchasing will be Avocado essence/ toner ( green bottle ) and third product I really want to try is iunik centela gel - My question is , do You think is lightweight and safe to use, because I do have "fungal acne" and heavy thick creams only make it worse , specially in the summer, in humid state ! I love K beauty! I don’t know if it’s just me but I had the worst experience ordering from Stylevana. After one month my order had not shipped. They never returned my emails and I had to request a refund through PayPal. I have had better luck with Yessyle. Anyone else have trouble?

Iv Lo yes I was extremely surprised that she didn't include a cleanser in her recommendations, it is a must if you are using this cleanser. Also it isn't that great at removing makeup as she said, and it does have ingredients that isnt that great either 😏

Yea, confusing that she doesn’t know cleansing balms are a first cleanse and you need to use a regular cleanser after it. She also compares the toner to the TO glycolic acid exfoliation which you can’t compare to Korean hydrating toners. They are apples and oranges. You can even use both.

K-beauty skin care products is the best for me My first time trying k-beauty products is from "somebymi" brand, i was like OMG it cleared all my acne while provide me a glass skin. I think, i would stick with k-beauty products till the end of my life. Thank you for sharing, love u

I've been trying the avocado relief essence toner and I'm so sad that it's not for me. I can't get it to stop "burning" my nose even when I don't do any kind of exfoliation. I was so excited :(

Cassandra, Korean skin care is so amazing because its packed with amazing ingredients and they know exactly what they're doing, BUT Cass, the Frudia Avacado toner have fruit extracts and citric oils/extracts that can be sensitizing to the skin. So from your honest, unsponsored opinion is it the fact that these extracts are at low doses that it doesn't have that negative impact on your skin, or is it that it does have a negative impact but you just dont wanna mention it because your sponsored? im truly confused about this because even hyrum has been being lenient on the discussion about fruit extracts since these sponsorships. plus, your ordinary toner and this toner has two completely different functions, one is hydrating and the is exfoliating, so idk how viable making that statement of 'switching it out' is.

When it comes to skincare my go to is always Asian particularly Korea and Thailand . French, American, Italian and other Western brands are too expensive and their ingredients are soo aggressive for me.

Autophagy wasn't discovered in 2016. It's way before that. The first autophagy paper was published in 1963. The person who discovered autophagy got the nobel price in 2016.

This is a great list! Other cruelty free Korean beauty brands I know are Dear Klairs, CosRx, Atrue, Benton, RE:P, By Wishtrend, I'm From, Glow Recipe, Skin&Lab, E Nature, A True, Withmy, Aromatica. Most also carry vegan items for those who don't want animal by-products.

wow, you didn't know what Centella Asiatica was?!!!!!!! it's basically everywhere in K-products. I've used it since I was a child, my grandma always had a tube for burns, and I took Centella Asiatica pills for like a year ... about 12 years ago. So many skin benefits, its miraculous!!! . (and no I am not from S-Korea)

I went to the Canadian website and the markup is over 40% higher. Make prem is $59.39 CAD (from $34.09 USD)! That's insane and does not reflect the exchange rate. Too bad - the other K beauty sites I shop from charge more reasonable prices to Canadians :(.

Hi I wanted to purchase the vitamin c serum. But one of the reviews says this: "There are some absolutely brilliant ingredients in this product BUT there is no stabiliser (like ferulic acid) to keep the SMALL AMOUNT of Vitamin C from potency degrading. I'm sure there are benefits from the other ingredients, but anything less than 8% C is ineffective and without ferulic acid it becomes less every time you use it." Would you agree or is this person on the wrong track? Love you
