I’ll give the 3M a shot, maybe double layer it.

for more room in your sleep setup, nemo sleeping bags, or using a setup like zen bivy(what i use) or big agnes echo park type of setup that is a sheet attached to the pad with a top quilt are super comfy

I just ordered a Nemo bag, hoping it will work out.

I almost got these bags after my CDT trip last year. I wanted bags with removable waterproof sacks. I found a set of BUMOT Xtremada TT 30L Rackless Saddlebags half off. fit the T7 perfectly. If you shop around you can find them for around 200 bucks. I like that I have mid-size bags on the bike and can throw my prepacked dry sacks in for a trip.

They look really nice. Sold out of stock though. I see 2 problems with this setup. You take a lot of dirt with you into the tent and it seems like you can't proper stow those bags full cause it won't fit back into the holder. I've already seen pulling them out can result in some suction.

I do a lot of camping, and a side sleeper/belly. Cannot sleep in a mummy bag. It stinks but I bring a pad, regular rectangle big anges sleeping bag and then a thick quilt style comforter. Obviously not for backpacking but for any other kind of sleeping that lets me sleep like a baby. For backpacking I use a big agnes sleeping bag and pad, but large wide sleeping bag. and bring my packpack inside the sleeping bag to use as a "body pillow"

I've got the Rhinowalk Soft Paniers, they mount perfectly to my Outback Moto pannier racks. I have used them for about 8 months and they have been great. They are 21 Liters each, so I also have their 30 Liter Drybag that mounts like a tail back. For the price its a fantastic setup. I paid for it myself, no freebee.

@davewithanikon did you mount the bags on a Tenere 700 with outback racks?

They look good and I think sift bags are a safer option. In a get off with metal panniers, your leg is subject to get trapped.
@AdventureTomek
@AdventureTomek 2 месяца назад
Yes! Much safer, I travel with my Tusk hard panniers for a few years and always feared have a leg injured/trapped. Don’t mind spending the extra time it takes to strap and unstrap a soft bag.

Check out the Nemo Disco sleeping bag. Absolute GAME-CHANGER for multiple sleeping positions. I got the 15 degree (which really means 30 comfortably). I'm seriously considering the Rinowalk rackless for my 701, thanks for making this vid!

Just picked one up! The Nemo Bag is awesome. For the price point RhinoWalk are a great bags, I’ve noticed AliExpress sells them a bit cheaper then Amazon… they just take longer to get to the states.

You should look at getting a compression (stuff) sack for your sleeping bag. You will save a bunch of room!

just went a similar route, nelson rigg enduro hurricane bags, I think 28 ltrs total, almost exactly the same as your's. I've gotten the weight for the entire camp setup down to 16 pounds total, including the bags and that includes a camp chair and cook kit. I also ditched the traditional mummy bag for something different.

Sweet! Same goals this year as well, travel as light as possible. I’ll have to weight the setup I have once complete
@NitrogenNL

They look pretty much the same as the Rhinowalk ones, just a different color and a tad more expensive. Can't commend on the used materials obviously. And they are similar to the medium option. In the video he uses the 48 litre option. Nelson doesn't ship out of the usa either sadly

Ive been waiting to get the semi rigged lone rider ones but like the mosko moto they are so expensive. Riding off-road with the hard plastic ones im Afraid of getting my leg caught.
@AdventureTomek
@AdventureTomek 2 месяца назад
I really like the Mosko Moto, just out of my budget currently. Rocked the Tusk rack and hard panniers on my KLR650 and KTM1190 over the last 2 years. Was always worried about having the boxes injuring me which made me tone down my off road riding speeds. Even the Tusk Soft bags are $500, this RhinoWalk is a nice budget bag that should work just fine.

Are the niceCNC brackets included that mount to the passenger peg area?
@AdventureTomek
@AdventureTomek 2 месяца назад
They are not. If you go through AliExpress they are around $20, take a bit to arrive to the USAz Amazon them as well they juts cost a few bucks more but you will get them much faster. You can easy strap the bags to the OEM rear foot pegs. I just did not see a need to have those

Have you tried hammock camping? Did a 4 day moto trip and we strung hammocks. It was quite comfortable and I feel like we didn’t have to pack as much. Not as ideal in cold weather, though.

@@AdventureTomek Man for motorcycle camping I use cheap China stuff. For the tent I use NatureHike VIK 1 person tent about 1kg or 2 lbs. [but the 2 person one may fit you better] and instead of a sleeping bag I use a quilt made by IceFlame about 600g or1.3lbs and the best part is that they have minimum bulk. Also as a cooking set Toaks titanium 550 pot and BRS stove [only 24g or .84 ounces]. As for sleeping pad I use the trusty Therm a rest.
