This is so sad. I was born 1971 and raised in Sarasota Florida. St. Armonds circle has turned into a bunch of over priced store fronts that cater to the rich that live around there. I as a kid used to be able to go down there and rent skates and skate on the side walks down to the beaches. All the high rises that have been built down there have all their own private beaches and it saddens me that people have become so selfish and greedy they have squashed the freedoms of the hard working blue collar people. Robbed those tax payers of Sarasota the chance to enjoy some of the most beautiful areas in Sarasota Florida. Florida is litary becoming another California before our very own eyes. Nothing is going to be affordable within Sarasota county / city for hardworking blue collar people within the next 10 years or so. It's very sad to see this happening.
CA does not allow private beaches !! When you start seeing homeless people camping in front of your home, crapping all over the place, the stench of human urine, high taxes, libturd morons protesting / marching in your hood, trash left all over the place, plastic bag ban, rigged elections, and stink pot all over the place---- then you can say "becoming another CA"!
Me too Lori. These people who dream of moving here with no money are going to get run over. Expensive everything here in Sarasota. Pay stinks, heavy traffic. Great if you have money . I have money, but dont know about most suckers that rent in new apartments
Have been vacationing on Anna Maria for 35 years. It too is being ruined with McMansions. The island is tiny and beautiful and used to be peaceful. Was there last month. Boom boxes blaring and trash left all over the beach. The price of “progress” I guess 😢
Hi Dina, if you are looking for private, deeded beach access there are a couple options just over a million and up from there. Most of the options are well over 2 million. If you are looking for a single family where you could walk to a public beach, you can find that under 1 million and up (depending on size and location). I hope this helps!
I wish someone could find us another ocean front home, Don't need a dock, boats too big, so, a place we can moor it, legally, The catch is we want a turn key farm with fruit trees, veggies, maybe cacao, with stables for two horses to be a part our property, we've looked at Costa Rica, Panama, CA.
What about just empty waterfront property. I live in a van and have a jetski. I just need somewhere to park and unload my jetski. It can even be on a beach with no ramp no problem
Hello do you have 1 acre Plus waterfront property buildable for a manufactured home I do want to stay under around 10 grand I don't care what area of Florida as long as it's Waterfront
I want something fresh. Im all about living in sandals and maybe a shirt. I'm a big time ski head so I would need room for about 14 jetskis - NO BOAT. I start my security job Thursday. My name is Gordon!
