Here we see the machine preparing this area for planting. Mounds are formed using the specific bucket head. This allows the trees to take root more quickly and gives them a head start against the competing vegetation. Our local forester, Billy Doyle, will continue to monitor this site over the next 4 years (and beyond) to ensure it meets all the stringent criteria for a successful plantation.
