The lamb stew looks amazing! However, I don't have a pressure cooker at home. So I will be making this on the stove. Will that work? Any important thing I need to keep in mind while cooking this on the stove? 🙂 I will be using beef.
I have eaten afghani korma lot its really different frm indian korma and pakistani korma indian and pakistani korma much more spice oily but afghani korma more of tomato base stew and no spice at all
Hi! How Many pounds of meat was used in this recipe? Are the persian plums the same as the prunes you can buy from Costco? I'm an asian trying to learn your cuisine and I want to capture the real flavors if possible. Thank you and more power to your channel.
Hi, thanks for watching. I have used lamb shoulder and it may have weighed around 1.?kg Also the Persian dried plums are easily available in all Persian stores. I son't know what types of prunes are in Costco. Thanks again.
@@kabulkitchenrecipes6019 Thank you for your reply. I actually tried making this dish with my leftover top sirloin beef and it turned out really, really good! I substituted the plums with chinese dried red dates which is what I have on hand. It has a sweet taste profile. Are the persian plums sour or sweet? Thank you.
Afghan plums are sour and tangy in taste. It will not be the same as the one you find in western stores such as Costco. If possible, visit an Iranian/Afghan grocers. Otherwise, you don’t have to use the plum, it’s just a touch.
U did it the wrong way, when I opened the lid it was burned. My parents came home and saw that it was burned and they laughed. This is all ur fault, I disliked ur video.
Dear I don't know what type of pressure cooker you have and how high your flame was. My korma was not burnt you can clearly see it in the video. You must've cooked on high flame or you have added less water.
