Paul is correct! Maleficent is a dark faerie, and the fact that she was excluded while Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather were invited to the christening is why she Cursed Aurora. In both folktale and movie.
Kathleen could have definitely won with Ursula if she wasn't so focused on the Palace! - The contracts go as follows: Ursula's Lair [1], Eric's Ship [2], The Shore [2], The Palace [1] - Change Form cards should only be used if you can make significant moves on it to your advantage. Keep the Palace locked unless you really need to. - Floatsam and Jetsam can both move heroes to adjacent locations. Play them in the middle (Eric's Ship and the Shore) soy can keep them moving within the first three locations - just got to make sure the lair is hero-free. Play at least one of them asap. - Whirlpool is you best friend! The card says move a hero to ANY unlocked location, just like Jafar's sorcerous power. She could have gotten rid of Triton quick. - ONLY play Grow Giant at The Shore. Use the option to either move a hero or item depending on the need. - If you get fated a lot, make sure you're attaching those contracts (Eric's Ship, The Shore, and Ursula's Lair). Discard the Palace contract, it will only complicate things for you. If you pull the Poor Unfortunate Souls card you can move heroes on your board to adjacent unlocked locations! So if you have three heroes on your board at once and need to move all of them to one of the first 3 locations, that's 3 birds with one stone. - When playing the Trident, DO NOT PLAY IT AT THE LAIR! It seems like the obvious choice because you need it there to win, however when you play it you have to play Triton too, and to get rid of him you would have to move him to a different location. Play it at Eric's ship which is only one location away. Also, for Jafar: - Find the Scarab pendant ASAP! It allows you to unlock the Cave of Wonders and pick up 5 cards instead of 4 at the end of your turn. - Cave of Wonders PLAY: First find the pendant and play it. Once it's unlocked, play the Lamp and find/play the Genie. Immediately move the lamp using the move item option to keep the strength of the Genie down. - ALWAYS play Iago wherever the lamp is. Jafar has activate symbols at Sultan's Palace and The Oasis, do not move Iago without the lamp. - NEVER hypnotize the Genie before playing the lamp, it is a waste of time. - The ONLY thing that needs to be at Sultan's palace is the Lamp. As long as you hypnotize the genie and have him on your side of the board, that portion of the goal is complete. Move the Lamp quickly with Iago and you win!
Even if Jafar hypnotises the genie when the lamp appears the genie will reappear at the cave of wonders (dead or hypnotised). Meaning getting genie that early sucks.
Try out the expansion of Disney Villainous, there's 2 of them. Wicked to the core, & Evil comes Prepared if you guys want to show everyone the new villains gameplay.
@@void_presence David is referring to Ursula, not allies or heroes. All you have to do is play the card at the end of your turn so you can do the rest beforehand
I feel like a troll every time I watch these videos on villainous but I get more and more frustrated they don’t include the deck list for each villain in the book so player can strategize
Adam played deception wrong he played it once he should know that does not let him get a card from his discard pile and you can move heroes to the same location as other heroes
When you want play maleficents green fire curse on a location with a hero already on it does that hero gets vanquish or you cant play the card at all? Becuase maleficent cant move heroes
Too Spooked Both of them had solid characters in them that all play differently. I personally love Dr Facilier and Evil Queen from Wicked to the Core and Ratigan from Evil comes Prepared.
Since you have to pay power for pretty much any play you have, it seems unlikely that they will run out. I’ve played a 6 player game and we didn’t run out.
This is only true when there is 5 or 6 players. When there is 5 or 6 players, players must use the fate token. When a player has the fate token, they can not be fated until another player is fated (the new fated player will gain the token).
Also he keeps using his cards to bring back stuff like scimitars and palace guards rather than saving it for hypnotise and move spells to get the lamp over
