In 1993, the AFL released a set of CDs with re-recordings of each teams club song performed by John R Williams. Each CD also contained the tracks "We'll Be There", "Australia's Favourite Son", a re-recording of "Up There Cazaly" and "Flying High to Glory".

It's disappointing that so many 'football' people are involved in the administration of the Australian Football League. They are just consistently not up to the grade. Embarrassing crap like this from 30 years ago is testament.

Very nice 😊👍. I still prefer Mike Brady's original version instead of John R. Williams's version.

He also did a version of Up There Cazaly which I'll be posting in a couple weeks time. Also not as good as Brady's :(
