Best game of football I've ever been to in my life. I was 15 year's old, went to every final in 2004. The saints prelim was the most intense and stressful game ive been to up until the WCE 2017 elimination final. Then the GF was fucking sick. The atmosphere even with a grandstand missing was fucking killer aye.

wait if u want the total full match then it will take a while but if what you mean by the full match is every goal or all the highlights then that will not take that long and i have already uploaded the 2005 2006 2008 and 2010 draw and replay videos showing every goal.

I have to say this, you envision what I wish most supporters were like.... Most videos of games on youtube are one sided affairs and tbh there are two teams playing, so you should show everything that was good for footy. To elaborate further I get shunned by Collingwood supporter groups for this opinion, yet I believe most of them are bigoted maggots who fanboy the club and have no idea how good the game is, I've heard this is a per club thing that just is... I watch most games regardless of who's playing and I enjoy and it emphasize with the clubs players regardless of who they are. It should be a rule to downvote 1 side highlights in youtube videos.

The reasons I rank Brisbane higher is because they won 3 in a row which hadn't been done for 60 years and may never happen again considering it is becoming harder to accomplish. Also Brisbane were able to keep pretty much the same team together while teams like Hawthorn of the 80's or the current Geelong team changed it up a fair bit to stay top for longer. IMO winning the minor premiership isn't as defining as winning the premiership. The Argus system is why I don't count the earlier teams.

Ports home crowds this season are averaging well over 25,000. That's not bad when you consider there are very few opposition fans who can attend Ports home games. Yes their home crowds did fall away in recent years because they had been performing so badly. They currently have over 40,000 members. Only the big Melbourne clubs along with West Coast and the Crows, who are virtual state teams, would have more. I think your criticism is a little harsh.

yeah who would have expected that they even reach the 2007 GF for such a young developing side. Sure they got buried but at least they reached it. Takes guts and determination to get to playing in a GF. The last 6 years the crows have played finals and choked every time. Well done to PAFC and they're back in the top 8, 3rd youngest team in the comp.. awesome achievement.

i think ill have to disagree the only premiership they won that i thought they where the best team that year was 2001 and in 2002 they finished 2nd and in 2003 3rd. Where as teams like Melbourne of the 50's and hawthorn of the 80's finished on top of the ladder most of the time and won more premierships as a side overall which i think is the most important thing. I'd probably also say the hawthorn team of the 80's was the best side. But there's no doubt brisbane 01'02'3 where one amazing team.

pleaseeeee, those teams have been in the comp for less than 4 yrs, at the time of this game port had been in the AFL for 7/8 yrs and had made premlims the last 2 years. On the note of history port were formed from port adelaide in the SANFL one of the oldest clubs in Australia. Pretty invalid argument towards Brisbane also, no tradition? but they wont the grand final the previous 3 years in a row...

That was a Beautiful day.Was the Best Grand Final Ever.The Sturt Mini League would have beaten the Pathetic Sydney Swans in 2014. Port would have won another won had they not kicked 3 goal 9 in the Prelim Final. Power would have murdered the Swans.

say all you want but i think it is fact you that needs the reality check, when you describe this history im immediately thinking of melbourne teams and ill tell you what, there is a few of them that have achieved shit all in the last 50 odd years. I have a feeling a demons v bulldogs game wouldn't sell out at the G this week . Game attendances/memberships are always going to be lower with teams from outside of melb for numerous reasons, I let premierships do the talking.

I have watched every Grand Final live since 1989 to date, but this was the only Grand Final I haven't watched in that time (both just boring teams). I worked so didn't even know the result until the next day.

Brisbane were robbed of the opportunity to win 4 in a row because of a biased AFL system which made them play a preliminary final at the MCG.

I knew you would make that argument about Port Adelaide in the SANFL, but to me that's a different comp. Port as an AFL team are different in my opinion. 7/8 years is nothing compared to traditional clubs that are over or almost 100 years old. And Brisbane were still an expansion club really just taking on a Fitzroy brand that was dead and buried. You only have to look at game attendances and club memberships to see how unpopular these two teams are.

Probably, but I still find Brisbane, Port, Fremantle etc quite boring just because there isn't much tradition there.

Biggest Disgrace in Grand Final History, coming from a tigers supporter, Brisbane should’ve won 4 in a row despite port being unlucky winning minor premiers and playing good footy when Brisbane won their 3 cups, they were lucky to even get to the gf 04 in the first place after a close shave to a strong St Kilda side which could’ve gone either way. But during the week leading up to the 2004 prelims, it was in the interest of the AFL board for Brisbane not to win 4 in a row. So the AFL decided that at least 1 preliminary final had to be played in Melbourne at the G, so instead of looking at Port and trying to get them to play in Melbourne, of coarse the AFL look at Brisbane who fully earned their right to play Geelong in the PF after a smashing over the Saints in the QF at the Gabba but instead were forced to play their earned Brisbane home game down in Melbourne at Geelongs secondary home ground, the MCG. Clearly the AFL did this to stop Brisbane winning 4 and it only resulted in Brisbane having to go all the way to Melbourne, have a tough hard game and win by 9, then go all the way back up to Brisbane to re group, then go all the way back down to Melbourne for The Grand Final. This resulted in tired players for Brisbane and it showed as Brisbane was in it a half time but the tiredness from all the travelling meant they weren’t able to keep on going and dropped the ball in the second half and the AFL had successfully handed the premiers over to port, it was clearly an unfair advantage given to port to destroy the Brisbane dominance era as it was in best interest for the AFL to do so. All in all port were a good side and didn’t do anything wrong at all, but they were put up against an unfairly treated opponent that were given little chance and hope by the AFL board as they were a victim of their own success.

Biggest joke of a Club. They beat a Brisbane team after they had won three flags in a row. Biggest Grand Final lost in AFL/VFL history in 2007. Begged the AFL in the following years for a bail out. Feral bandwagon supporters...the list goes on!

This was a good contest until Brisbane fell apart and withered near the end of the third quarter, like precious little delicate flowers. Well done to Port for outmuscling them. These bastards are starting to look dangerous again right now actually. Gonna have to man the fuck up if they want to take the flag off my team though.
