@@BoveAllOdds you still don't push someone into someone who was coming at him like a steam train. You think it was right cause it was a player on the other team? Do you understand that players should feel safe out there, they shouldn't have too worry about people pushing them into a man who purposely hit his head in a very dangerous way. Do you not care about the safety of a person? Your comment is one of the most stupidest things I have ever read. I thought those two players were actually good people but after watching that disgraceful act, I have truly lost all respect for them. They're such fool's. Absolutely absurd! It's only common sense too care about the safety of a person and they didn't even stop and help him or say sorry, they just kept on playing like nothing happened. Bloody he'll, the man just got knocked out for goodness sake, what the heck is wrong with them? The game should of immediately stopped and the top priority should of been too the well being of the poor man who just got struck in the head like lightning. People's health is way more important then carrying on with the game and doing nothing. AFL is just a game and they should've just made sure he was alright first before carrying on. It's truly disgraceful that they couldn't respect him and his love ones and make him the top priority, people with hearts do and people with no hearts do not. The man could of actually died with a hit too the head like that and those two people could of being responsible for his death. Open your eyes and use common sense, please use your brain and heart & be more wise and empathic towards someone else.
I am grateful this was not included it would have not been respectful to show on something as casual as this video and would have been horrifically unpleasant to watch.
So so sick of the term "bump". These are not "bumps" in any bloody language. When you have 90-100kg of footballer hit you at 20+ km/hr in the midline of your body where the heart, the lungs, and especially the cervical spine and the brain are completely exposed to severe trauma with no possible way to protect themselves, then that is not a "bump". Its a complete bullshit term used to excuse and justify dangerous play that has no place in sport whatsoever and is attached to a preposterous and pathetic notion of "manliness". It puts people in hospital, ends sporting careers and leaves players with a lifetime of potential disability. Don't agree? So why are contact sporting codes all over the world banning such unsportsmanlike conduct and setting up concussion protocols? Ask a 15yo who is a quadriplegic because of a bump how he feels about what is left of his life.
I just wished some of these players toughened up like in the old days. Way too much modern day histrionics, playacting and shamelessly playing the victim in modern football. It's a disgrace sadly, I am disgusted. Too much feighning injury and gamesmanship and it's causing unnecessary stoppages and breaks in play, spoils the game. In my day, if you took a little tap on your shoulder, just like these very reasonable challenges, you just dusted yourself off, smiled at, then thanked your, opponent and just carried on. You would never have wanted your opponents to ever see you wriggling around on the floor wincing in agony and pain, showing off with your concussions and fractured bones. You just cracked on simple, literally. If you were borderline heamoraging blood with a bleed on the brain, as happened to me on more than a few occasions, maybe the teams bus driver with his first aid badge would run onto the field with a bucket of cold water and a sponge. And that always did the trick, you were good to go in one maybe two seconds. It was never an issue. You could go to the emergency department once the game was done. Honestly, right bunch of pre-madonas and fairies this lot are. They must prepare for matches by watching my little pony or frozen; don't recognise the sport any more. Shame on them. Anyway, cant chit chat, I got to go and change my diaper.
@@TheH3dgie they sooked because they were coming from a non-contact sport. It would be like a tai chi master coming up agains a UFC champion. The rules were clearly setting Ireland up to be destroyed.
Good list but not "of All Time!". There's tons missing from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s. Byron Picket, Michael Voss, John Worsfold, Mark Ricciuto, Milburn on Silvagni, Gary Ablett, Dermott Brereton multiple times, Dipper, Matthews. They dished out some mighty big hits not shown here.
well done for sydney player to hold up play and check on him, barry hall will never live that down and ballantyne deserved what he got for the years of being a serial pest. put him the same category as milne
Yeah right as a Rugby league fan myself! The first one. Lucky he was not killed! You can not be Australian pumping up the English third choice game..instead of acknowledging Australia's Game.. which by the way has the world's biggest crowds Per capita ! Australian football!
@@R-vl9ue *"Australia's game"* is only watched and played in half of Australia. Average home crowds for GWS are 8-9000 per game for an urban population of 2.6 million. There is no interest on the Gold Coast either. Your game is softer than a two minute egg. 🤣🤣
@@ALEXANDER-mx6dk You left out the Sydney Swans and Brisbane lions both get big crowd's! Southern NSW have always followed Australian rules . So AFL is big in half Australia and a big following in Queensland and NSW! So you pick GWS and Gold coast! Conveniently LOL.. AFL dominates Australia! Typical. NRL got state of origin from the AFL... But you didn't want to know that! Turkey! Soft my arse! Titan's get sweet f all too.
@R-vl9ue AFL has no team in the national capital, Canberra!! 🤣 No presence in Newcastle!! There are no teams in North and Central Queensland!! There is no AFL side in New Zealand!! 🤣 Population wise, NSW is the biggest state in Australia, and the AFL can only sustain ONE team!! AFL has reached its limit in OZ. Western Sydney was your Vietnam war. 🤣🤣🤣
