2016 AFL GRAND FINAL: Sydney Swans Verse Western Bulldogs witnessed the Bulldogs break their 62 year Premiership drought after downing the Swans by 22 point in front of 99,981 at the MCG
Sons of the west red white and bull we come out snarling bulldogs through and through but u can’t beat the boys of the bulldogs breed we are the team of the mighty west
Great win, hilarious interview with Murphy. The peanut gallery claim rigged by the umps, while the pedant grammar Nazis just can't help themselves. Thank you for posting Jacob🙃
The scenes after the game of Gary Rohan and Tom Mitchell were interesting knowing that they would move then win a premiership in respective years (Gary in 2022 and Tom in 2023)
Yeah I wish the umps had paid the few frees they missed, Swans were basically legless tired after 3/4 time so they still would have lost, but at least that would have stopped SOME of the complaining.
@J G were not in all those countries u dont like our game and our country fuck off, the reason why soccer is played everywhere cause anyone can play it ya gotta have guts to plAY THIS GAME LISTEN TO TEDDY
@J G mate, it doesn’t matter what sport is the biggest in the world. All that matters are the experiences and memories we get out of them, you enjoy soccer, we enjoy AFL and that’s fine. Should not be a dick measuring contest. I recommend going to a footy game one day you might actually enjoy it.
Jesser. What the hell are you talking about. The Bulldogs deseved to win. Their use of the ball particularly in the last quarter and pace was too much for the Swans in the end. Blaming the umpires is a copout. The swans simply weren't good enough when it mattered
Great final series but the umpires could not have helped the doggies more the entire series. The most manufactured Grand final in AFL history. The doggies poor showing since is evidence enough.
@@jimmyrobinson5699 Made the finals this year and the Swans were nowhere to be seen, after they got completely flogged out of the finals last season. You can have a good year and then have a bad one or two, look at the Hawks after '08. So maybe 17 was a hangover and 18 was crippled by an 18-player injury list. By this season its nearly a different team entirely, rather like the Swans will be next year. Definitely got lucky with the umpires more, sure, but there were mistakes which went the Swans' way and half their players barely turned up (according to Longmire himself, one was even delisted) and they over-relied on an injured Franklin. The 3-4 frees that the Swans should have got wouldn't have won the match, not to mention the very questionable free on Matthew Boyd that handed the Swans a goal and the umps missing a really blatant high on Picken INSIDE the goal square. Oh and by the way, this was the third of four times that the Dogs beat the Swans in a row. Some teams just do disproportionately well against certain others, see the Swans vs the Eagles for example.
Everything.... Because all it sounds like is that your're incredibly salty making up shit that never happened. If your first to the ball winning contested ball by +15, 20, 30 every week your going to get free kicks. Find it funny that you say "helped" yet Bulldogs won 4 straight finals to win it, so did it the hard way...
