I have a constant, terrible fear of death. All of the points that I think about and are stuck with are addressed by Seneca, and I know it to be true, but it's hard to come to term with it regardless. Even if there's no sensation of loss and pain to be experienced, to part from a world in which I am deeply in love with... Well, it brings terror to my mind while I am still alive, and nightmares whenever I dream. Somehow, even if it wouldn't be so bad after death doesn't matter; I simply am just terrified with the idea of losing "Myself" while I am still alive. And I guess... The only part that matters to us is the part when we are still alive, huh? I'll rewatch this video a few more times, and hopefully that might... Help, in some of the worse times. Thank you for this video.
You may benefit from understanding eastern philosophies like Buddhism and Taoism. By truly being in the present moment, you realize that future is your imagination. It seems that your own thoughts have turned against you but there is a solution if you seek it. There is no fear in stillness.
