This song was just so beautiful. In Rahat lyrics there were so many pictures about the beauty of the beloved person, it made me feel warm. Mominas' voice is just a blessing and I wanted her to have more stage time. The final minute of this track was an absolute highlight of my coke studio reactions. The instrumental background was very calm up to this point and I could enjoy the sound very much, because it wasn't too traditional. If I should ever make a love song again I need to remember this song and write an equivalent in terms of beautiful lyrics. Please be back for the next Coke Studio reactions, you won't regret!

The beauty of this song is, he tries to describe the beauty of his beloved with so many things..but nothing seems to be enough... So he says it's impossible to describe..so he praises the creator Who created her... That's just beautiful.

haha it was so hilarious right after you said Pakistanis always give more hype to RFAK and then right away rahat showed you what he can do with his voice and bro trust me this is not even 20% of his capability😛😆 Momina has no doubt very anjelic voice but she's just not on his level. Btw this is just a regular love song, qawali is something very different.

you know biggest injustice to any poetry is that you translate it into another language, it looses half of its spiritual essence, I wish you could understand this language to feel the depth of this song. Urdu is language of many famous poets of east. its like magical spells, because its inspired by Persian.

The part that Rahat sang is the old and original. The lyrics was written by Javed Akhter for Nusrat Fateh Ali. Javed Akhter is a great poet and song Writer from India.

The song was originally sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali khan (his uncle), one of his greatest hits. Lyrics were written by Javed Akhtar, Indian Urdu poet and writer, also wrote alot of bollywood urdu songs. The Mominas part, was new in this songs, not part of original lyrics and song. (Thats why it was mentioned "additional lyrics by.. " when she started singing)

Those at the end are Riffs/ Sargam which are part of Pakistani and Indian Cultural Qawali which is a form of Cultural Pakistani and Indian Songs/ Music/ Message in which there are deep meanings and emotions, Those riffs/ Sargam are also instructions for background musicians, drummers and other Instrumentalist on How, What, Which note and When to play the instruments so they are also extremely difficult at Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's level unachievable by most their whole life. You can watch some popular Qawali by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to in which the riffs/ Sargam always comes before the drum beat because he is guiding his musicians and Instrumentalists with the riffs/ Sargam whilst singing at the same time.

the orange one is something like the tree of life, with lots of plants and animals. The blue one is rather geometric, it has more emotional meaning to me: It was the only wall decoration I had in my room in my worst times.

just a small note. I think the translators tried to make the lyrics more family friendly, because they paraphrased the word "Jism" into " beauty", while it actually means "BODY". My dude is actually praising her body in the first half of the song ;) Which gives more context to the part "warm and smooth as Sandalwood, Pure and delicate marble"
