In this episode, I am heading further to the south east of Liberia and it's a long day of motorcycling. Over 200 kilometers of dirt roads through the jungle and now that the rainy season has started, this is becoming more challenging very soon. But the rewards once I reach the National Park make it all worth it !!

I have to say I am now retired after spending all my life travelling to places in USA and Europe. From watching your videos I realise how little in depth geography we miss with modern life and work. These videos are valuable education about geography, climate differences, living standards and culture that you cannot learn from a book. You are doing a great public service with these videos. It must be tiring, but it is appreciated by millions of people. Well done.

Two mudholes and a luxury cabins? For 3 yrs I worked in the Amazon (Peru, Bolivia, Brazil). Sometimes I couldn't pass sections of "roads" as the ruts reached above the roof of my little Willy, sometimes I had to spend days/week in dirt shacks as my motorbike wouldn't fit in the canoes that crossed the frothing rivers, sometimes I had to walk for days in the mud slashing through the forests as the paths to my destination hardly exist anymore, one time I slept in a Shining Path base camp, one time I slept on top of a pigs bin. But all the times the people is what is still stuck in my head. Amazing people.

These episodes in countries like this are without doubt the most interesting and educational for me and I guess many of the watchers. The jungle roads, the enormous problems for the local people that they have to struggle with on a daily basis. The roads during rain season and the difficulties to get from A to B. It is such a difference with the world we are used to, and Noraly handdles these conditions as an experienced local. And her reward at the end is indeed mind blowing: the hike trough the deep jungle and then a lodge that looks like it is of a different world far far away of the African jungle. As if Center Parcs has started a new venue in Liberia ......

A few days ago, i drove around 1200 km's while driving 40 to 50km/h for over 18 hours. A few places i could drive 80km/h. if i see you driving. You are a badass like me but i do not have terrain like that or i would have been stuck with my rv "camper" in no time there. Lol! Only real ones know how hard it is for you, keep on enjoying your journey! I am currently stuck with my rv without any money to repair. I wish you luck and i will pray for you as i am a long time watcher but never commented. Much love 🤘

One thing I love about this channel is I get to see places I never would go, and the way Noraly tells the story of the locals makes me want to change my mind but I doubt it would ever turn out as wonderful for me as it does for her.

Thank you for the Liberia adventure. I worked in Liberia over 33 years ago as an exploration geologist. It was challenging work, but many enjoyable moments. Sadly had to leave due to the civil war. Glad I survived as many Liberian friends did not survive.

So sorry for your loss of long term friends. I spent many years in PNG and had great times and friends to share them...back “home” now it’s a history no one can possibly understand. One day this earth will completely change back to what it was created for and we can be with true friends again.....

Seems an impossible feat Noraly but you keep raising the bar with your videos. Such an engaging fulfilling video start to finish. Getting through the mud bogs on a loaded bike without going down is strong testament to your riding skills. Great entertainment by the other riders! Awesome 45 minute hike through jungle and what a surprise. You probably had to pinch yourself to make sure it was real. Thank you so much for the continuing education. Best teacher ever!. Peace ❤❤❤

This brings back so many good memories of my time in this part of Africa. In my case, it was 50+ years ago and it was a LOT more primitive but, as you're finding out, the people were SO nice. No hotels back then (I often stayed in people's houses), pretty basic food (I didn't ask what kind of meat I was eating) and, as you saw TERRIBLE roads (mostly two-track trails like you showed at the last). It doesn't look like you''re having any mosquito issues (they don't breed in running water). I've had malaria so many times that they don't bother me anymore but do be careful. Thanks so much for making these videos, I'm having a wonderful time following along with your travels... ...Joel...

Wow Noraly, what an interesting ride today. That road really tested your skills and you passed it with flying colours. I always like the drone footage that you share as it gives us the opportunity to see the ride from a different angle. The walk through the jungle was awesome and the cabin wow. The little chimp is so cute. Enjoy your stay at the river, keep safe and God Bless. Greetings from Cape Town. 🙌🙏🇿🇦💯💪🐒🏍🏆💯🙏

1987, long before there was a road from Greenville to River Cess, I spent 3 magical days and 2 nights walking the route. Amazing hospitality from local folks in small villages. It was simple: Keep the ocean on the left, and the forest on the right.

I am a traveller of old and met scores of your compatriots in the Americas who had taken 1 to 2 years off from work and school to get "real world" experience. It is great to see your country's fine tradition continue through you. Although, you may be just a little bit more hard-core. Or perhaps simply Holland Traveller 2.0. Sincerely Yours. Richard
