Weekend woohoo! Today we let the animals get into our African Savanna dome. And we have "some" rocks to place :)

In Planet Zoo you are the Zoo Manager. Create underwater Viewing Galleries, develop intricate Chimpanzee climbing frames or house a majestic Bengal Tiger. You also need to make sure your animals stay healthy, have a comfy shelter and are not too annoyed by your guests. Speaking of which, you will need restaurants and other facilities to keep them happy too.
If you succeed, you will be granted access to the most impressive animals of this planet, such as the Giant Panda, a fluffly small red panda, the scary Komodo dragon or the bulky Hippo.
You can also build several habitats, Domes, safari rides or walk-in habitats that provide the best view onto your animals.

My wishes for the game in the future (as I always mentioned) are: First off a heatmap of the traversable areas for the staff, second "decorative animals" that could be placed as a special effect like the falling leaves. It would be nice to have animals like swans, dugs, swarms of fishes or doves etc.

Your mic sounds great and I love your videos. For the game I would love lava, so that I can make more realistic volcanoes and fire special effects so that I can finish my mount doom build. (Mount Doom V2 LOTR is on the workshop and I would be honoured if you could have a look at it and tell me if there are any improvements I could make, if not no worries :) ). I would also love the option to start a map off with random terrain, or the option to save paths within items that you save to the workshop so you can just join it similar to when placing an exhibit door. I think a tour guide staff member and a sit down educational movie would be good too.

I am super eager for an aquatic DLC- not just animals but designing underwater habitats!! It would be amazing to get more underwater plants and pool design features!

The new mic has more bass/deeper sound to it and the S sounds are a little whistlely, i cat tell it you are a snake or a teakettle. As for Planet Zoo, before i get all wish list about what i'd like in the game, i would like see most of the bugs, glitches and floaty animations fixed.

I would love a video in super detail about hot keys and how to best use them, I know you have one already but I’m still struggling. And a video on ideas for making habitats looks very natural and integrated into the scenery. Also maybe a in depth ride tutorial and how to place the stations so they blend with the scenery also. Love this series!

The mic sounds great! I've started to notice some videos I watch, including yours, have a lower overall volume than others and I have to turn the sound up more, but I think that might be my speakers slowly dying.... As far as the game, my greatest wish right now is better waterfall pieces and water features in general. I keep forgetting to put them in place first and then build the terrain around them because it never looks right any other way.

I would really like to see backstage items, like a bucket and cleaning material, foodtrays, etc. Just to give it a tad more realism. I know you can make a lot yourself with the pieces in the game, but some details do get bulky! It would really make a zoo stand out a little bit more. Like, in that backstage area Ibun(?) made in Delady's reptile house in Koali Zoo. It could be filled with a lot of items you would find there (meat and fish, like the already excisting fruits, buckets and brooms, etc).

For any updates or fixes, #1 fix it so people do not walk through things. #2 Increase animal storage. I have a big sandbox zoo and cannot buy any more animals or get rid of any more in storage. More temperate animals, North American, northern European. Maybe an Australian, DCL , more birds.

Well, I would realy love the entertainment focus in the came. Zoo Tycoon had carrousells, playgrounds, and shows for marine animals. They were pretty one dimensional (like the rides in Planet Zoo), but they gave a lot more depth. Zoo Tycoon had an elephant mery-go-round and an elephant themed playground. Just building those near the elephant enclosure felt just right. I think this can realy deepen the immersion of the game. Thinking of your "disney inspiration" summer project, this would fit in just nice.

Rudi, that area you were talking about the african wild dog, it might be too small. I think they say at least 3 to whatever side is recommended. AND, they need a lot of space.....I was trying to put them into a zoo recently and was surprised by the amount of space they need just to be minimally happy. You might want to double check that before you plop them down.

I would love more “garden”plants to make flower beds in between habitats. Plan-co has loads of different flowers.

Rudi Rennkamel no planco has more decorative plant options than planet zoo. I would love to have a greater variety of flowers just for decoration rather than habitat specific.

I also wish you could add specific grass like in Zoo Tycoon, such as Savannah grass and green grass instead of it relying on the type of grass that naturally in the biome in which you built the zoo.

Bongo's live in the rainforest and are solitary animal, while in Savannah animals lives in herds.

Well.... This is actually another species of bongo's, they look the same but have some differences. Mainly that they find domes and live in them and they don't like being alone. This special breed was discovered by researchers at the "Rudi Institute of Research on Bongo's That are Different"

You definelty should! It's a great game which you can sink countless of hours into. The learning curve also wasnt as steep as I expected!

If you can you should also buy the DLC. The animals they add are great but the building pieces are especially helpfull! From the two DLC I'd say buy the South american one. But both are good

I would love to see more variation in education, the speaker and screen are getting pretty boring in my opinion. Also, I really enjoy watching your videos and talking about different subjects like RU-vid and stuff. Keep doing what youre doing 💪💪
