This week, we go to Ethiopia where the government says its forces have retaken a city in southern Tigray, just days after rebels announced a retreat from the Amhara and Afar regions.The prime minister's spokesperson Billene Seyoum joined us from capital Addis Ababa to discuss the details.

With out knowing the root causes of the Ethiopian conflict, it will be very difficult to understand the situation actually for foreigners ppl. TPLF is a Mafia group that has been controlling a huge capital for the last 3 decade when they were governing the country. After they get kicked out from the power, they have been working with the countries that have a geoplitical interest in Ethiopia. They get a green light from that group and started the war against Ethiopians. Tigrians are the victim of the circumstance and a tools for nothing. This mafia group was created a cotroling mechanism that the people are very scared to say noting against the system. Now when the Ethiopian force advances to the region soon will start a protest against woyane and the game will end by Easter.

😂😂😂 the Tigray region declaring independence is like declaring suicide on them selves, more than 60% of their aid comes from the rest of Ethiopia, Tigray wouldnt be able to sustain it self if they became independent thats why their trying so hard to get welkite which is in the amhara region. They have no ports, and no neighbors they get along with except for Northern Sudan. It would benefit them a lot to stay with Ethiopia.

FYI; no international charity organisation assisted the people of amhara and afar for more than 6 months but WFP and many others send assistances crossing the land of amhara and afar and the trucks back to amhara and afar transporting thr terrorist TPLF fighters. NO international community condemn the act of WFP providing trucks for soliders transportation of tplf but accuse the gov't of ethiopia for aggravating the war. At the very beginning TPLF start the war by attacking the north command of ethiopian army and TPLF commited many war crimes in the people of ethiopia. TPLF is aterrorist group and no world gov't will bargain with a terrorist group which attacks the military base.
