Brought up memories. During the 60s when schools are on long vacation I traveled by train with my mother from Sekondi to Awaso in the western region. My late father at the time worked with the British Aluminum Company which is now Ghana Buxcite Company. In those days all our neighbors were whites. After the three months holidays, I returned to Cape Coast. My neighbors in Cape Coast were Nigerians, Arabs, Indians, people from other African countries and few Europeans. Life was good in those days. No hate. We lived peaceful. People don't lock their doors when they sleep in the night or go to work. Sometimes I picture that period and ask myself what went wrong we now have hate everywhere.
But today sir no peace dear .iam sikh community from punjab India and my sister's husband shot dead by some miscreants so they decided to leave Africa. Moved to India punjab
Africa can take help from Indian expertise in railways, Indian rail system is best in the world, Railway connection can increase prosperity and generate wealth which Africa needs.
With all due respect , I wouldn't say indian railways are the best in the world, though it's not bad either, don't get me wrong. Perhaps one of the best and most comprehensive railway system is in Japan. The rail network is truly comprehensive , carefully maintained and extremely safe. I know what I'm talking about because I've been to both India and Japan and travelled by train in both countries. Switzerland also has an excellent rail network like many other European countries. All the best!
@@Marisolita_95 I agree with you it's not the best, but it's good entire India is well connected by Railway, so my suggestion was Indian expertise in railways can help African countries to set up rail network.
@@Marisolita_95 , yes, it is not the best but among one of the best. It is cost effective, support truly mass transit and makes nearly everything in India from machine to its parts, tracks and steel.
It must be nice to live along a train , the train has brought wealth to many regions of Ghanna and I see nice home along the train tracks , and the standard of living looks great , great video
I was once a homeless man in America and we slept in parked train's boxcars. I would like to travel to Ghana and tour the countryside in this train and maybe even take a nap.
From an Indian perspective, the better part of the train journey is that the train as well as the station platform was very clean and the train was not crowded.
They should start paying the ticket electronically to avoid thievery and corruption aaaaba. Nice to see what this government is gradually changing the rail system.
I really enjoyed this train ride video...awesome...but I was laughing at you when you kept moving around...I said to myself..now 4kwalker gone have to sit down and be still...lololo....nice one my friend.
Cheap hotels i've stay in Ghana are Green Tree in Osu about 2 blocks behind shop rite ( Osu cemetary rd) And Avenieda hotel on Kojo Thompsom Road above THE circle..In Pram Pram @ Gyaaba Sea View in 2021
Positive change. But my concern is the Ticket officer selling tickets on the train. To avoid setting officers as targets for thefts and to ensure proper accountability of funds that's generated from this service, there should be very minimal or no handling of cash by train workers. You buy tickets from an accredited vendor and board. God bless our homeland Ghana and make us great and strong 🙏🙏🙏
i hv never seen this train....i took a train years ago from tema to accra mall but it had ghanaian colours....n people is livin at accra mall stop said me is not workin anymore
i was asking him about the different train tickets and he said the first class section is towards the back for 7 cedis (0.5 usd), and the cheaper part is 5 cedis (0.35 usd)
@@4kwalkinghanavideos331 Oh no sorry my friend I meant the man on the left in the tucked-in shirt but don't worry you probably didn't get to notice him👍
