It's definitely similar. I have been to South Africa. I think Namibians love South Africans but would definitely interview them on that, the next time I get a chance.

Thank you for showing the world this side of Windhoek. However let me add this all these sandy towns especially in Windhoek only came after independence. Back then probably because people had no much freedom of movement or can't live where one wants to live, there was nothing lile sack houses. I am saying all these because in the 1990 when i can for school in Windhoek there was nothing such as these There was however black townships which one calls Katutura proper.

You are distorting our history please. Our children are reading this and get confused as to what is the truth. The shacks was not part of the Katutura history where people were forced to live from the apartheid regime. The shacks you are showing came about after Indepenndence, this was build by people who came from rural areas in search of greener pastures. When our parents were forced to move from old location to Katutura we never had a single shack, we stayed in proper houses as you can see them in locations like donkerhoek where I come from for example. Shack location have nothing to do with apartheid.
