All that including the high notes is all FIJI the godfather of island pacific reggae, Da GOAT. Every artist from the south pacific will tell you the same. He paved the way for all other artists that came after him. His songs are all staples here for us in polynesia and all the south pacific.

The album, Born & Raised, was actually released in 1996. This song is 27yrs old. That whole album is 🔥🔥🔥. Google the album and check out the tracks. Each one better than the last.

The artist "Fiji" was born and raised in Fiji, then moved to Hawaii where in which he pursue his music career. His music genre is mostly island reggae like other island artists.

I first heard Fiji sang at a bar in Kailua Hawaii back in 1986-1987 with another Polynesian bruddah Waltah aipolani. Those were the best days growing up in Hawaii.

Love this song. Ahhh the best memories when I hear it. You should check out New Zealand band L.A.B - Why Oh Why. Top the charts in NZ. Very talented and versatile band (Reggae, blues, funk, electronic & rock) 🙏🏼 They finished their tour in US and Hawaii last month.

Believe me bro, you wouldn't imagine how that song was so famous with its reggae genre and its even still played all over pacific till now...
