Last week you asked about topics, I would like to know, how do we reconcile the fact that Christianity was brought to us as a tool for colonization and colonization would not have worked without Christianity, which is why our cultures are demonized, also referencing William Lynch and his letter to slave masters in the 1700’s and the Berlin conference in the late 1800’s. How do we reconcile the fact that our colonisers themselves are now athiest (been living in Europe for 7 years and chile from Greece to the Netherlands, the church buildings are empty) and we Africans are shouting from every street corner with our makeshift tents and mega churches yet our living situation is quite literally in the dumps. Is God really looking out for us like that, or have we exchanged our culture for suffering on earth with a partly cloudy eternity? I think you might need a panel for this one.

Very important topic. Thanks for highlighting it again, especially in regard to this. Here’s the first podcast on this, that light tickle your fancy. We do need to do more - but maybe this episode might help : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-t0kAf5KyNTU.html&feature=shares

1. Lies will always move faster than the truth… 2. Everything is capable of giving you peace if it is done correctly 3. Christianity worked for Lindokuhle because she did it correctly African spirituality did not work for her because she was doing it incorrectly and it’s a shame because the people around her were setting a poor example of what “African spirituality” should be and because of that it did not sit well with her soul because there was a lot of turmoil going on with her spirit… However as soon as she found Christianity there was a sense of peace and there’s honestly nothing wrong with that 4. Often times we receive African spirituality as being “demonic” because the only examples of African spirituality being given and shown on media are negative examples, African spirituality and Christianity are no different… the same way you have people using African spirituality as a weapon against humanity, we have seen Christian pastors doing the exact same thing. The only difference is that when Christianity is involved they can clearly disassociate the bad from the good but with any other belief system if there’s one testimony of a person having a bad experience with for example ‘African spirituality’ suddenly no one can disassociate the bad from the good so all of a sudden all of “African spirituality” is bad period, and because the bible said that ‘thou shall not worship false gods’ if a person talks about a bad experience they had with Hinduism then ALL of Hinduism is evil and the bible is the answer… but you will literally have a plethora of girls being raped by Christian pastors but it’s not the belief systems fault it’s because of the devil “overcoming THAT pastor” This pattern of demonising any non Christian belief system is rooted in colonialism itself 5. I use the term “African spirituality” very loosely because I don’t think it’s a religion or a belief system but rather a way of life like breathing… if you are being told your ancestors need jack daniels to ‘help’ you then that’s definitely a red flag the same way that if you are being told you need to sacrifice a percentage of your salary for tithe so that the pastor can buy a Range Rover that’s a red flag too.. people must just be able to discern right from wrong from their core innately and stop vilifying belief systems they don’t fully understand because the bible told them so 6. Lastly, there’s nothing wrong with Christianity when it’s practiced correctly, there’s nothing wrong with African spirituality when it’s practiced correctly, there’s nothing wrong with Hinduism when it’s practiced correctly… all these things are vilified by people at the end of the day I don’t expect anyone to make it this far but if you’ve read up to this point God bless your patience 🙏🏽😅

How i wish churches can be more accommodative to spiritually gifted people and not demonize them until they get their own personal encounters and experience God on their own. It doesn't have to be conventional i relationship yethu noThixo but a rather more personal journey

Beautiful said, we can't deny African spirituality exists and until we learn that we cannot separate our ancestors from God and call them demons, we will learn to accommodate all people at church and allow people to seek God.

I relate so much to your journey! My grandmother is also my protector and she kinda knew that I have episodes but didn't want to scare me so she'd always pray for me at night when I get them! the moment I stopped living with her my episodes intensified! I dream about things and they come true! I'm scared and on edge! I am constantly told that I have a gift and if I don't accept it I am gonna have bad luck etc... I am still trying to pray to God to use me as His vessel! Because my comfort comes from the peace in His Kingdom, the peace of mind in being His child! Yoh thank you so much for sharing, I hope I get to the point you're in, the point of peace, I want a personal relationship with God😢

This was interesting. I would've really loved to know what Lindokuhle meant by meeting Christ, in a more practical sense. Like what exactly happened? And what are the things that made her change her mind and in what practical way? I only say this because these things tend to get lost in their mystery.

I guess the journey wasn’t for her, there is no way you could take your calling and never experience peace. Peace resides in alignment, in the midst of all the chaos the calling comes with if you are aligned I can assure you now peace is found in abundance. I’ve experienced so many things in this life but peace and love that comes with being close to my ancestors surpasses it all. This is home. I am my ANCESTORS and they are ME📿📿❤️❤️Sofel’ethongweni 📿📿

However the Christ conversation is deeper than what we think. God is eternal, God is a Spirit. The names used in The Bible are from fallen Angels who worked against the true light . The Bible is the upside down version of the true book of The Most High of human kind. The root of The Bible is spirituality but the way it’s structured goes against us, we are actually worshiping another entity outside of God

May she not miss how she was "lost" as she mentions and let others be lost so God can do his work in their lives i got afraid when she said "i dont mind going odd with my family for the work of God" may she be not arrogant in trying to convince others she had found Christ other than that she will be loosing the battle. Guys the podcast would've been nice and informative but you ended up making noise i know youre trying to be cool about it but you need to understand the topic youre dealing with is so sensitive 1 word can make people miss the whole content or misinterprete or misquote the guest's ideas and conviction. Give each other time interms of questioning and make sure the guest answers before posing another question, it sounded as a competition of who puts it nicer that the other
