I was almost got arrested in Cairo just walking to my flight in the Airport. I asked the security guy where the restroom was at, he walked me there and when i get out three police said, we can take you for question or help them with money. I said NO and asked them to walk me and one asked for my passport and i handed over my American passport and they talked. He said its okay and left. This is the most upsetting corrupt airport I've ever seen.
As a Black American, I am sickened that my fellow African brothers and sisters are treated so horribly! We need to bring an end to this! We need to unite throughout the whole Black world.

Last year summer in August, I returned from Egypt, the Tour Guides tell us to give the maids money at the Hotels, Drivers ETC, he never tell us to give the stray handler money, ALL customs in Egypt the Guides was there so, I guess the stray handler never asked for money, some Police men, told us do not give the people in the street money or food. At Cairo Airport, the guides were not there, so we had to fend for ourselves one stray handler asked me for me, I get so upset, No one ever asked me for money with my global Traveling, so, the next one throw a neck pillow in my stray right before in went in the X-ray machine, so I immediately take it out, I informed the man, it's not mine. Probably, something might be in the Neck Pillow. Besides, Egypt his IN Africa...

As being black person let me tell you it happened to me too . I landed in Cairo airport 2:00 am midnight and they let us stay till 5:00 in the morning a man took our passport and just left . And let us sit in a corner just because we have African passport. We were all Africans too .

Have been to Egypt twice and was treated like a king. Seems like things have changed, my last visit was 1999. I was planning to visit again to see the historical sites, but I will seriously have to think twice now!
I'm sad to say, but there's a problem in Egypt's airport. Even Egyptians are being extorted. I saw a video of an Egyptian man who lives in Germany, who was returning after a visit. He changed his Egyptian money to Euros in the airport. What they did was gave him a stack of money with a few Euros on the outside, but the middle was filled with Egyptian bills. These are the types of people who give the country a bad name.
It is truly sad that African Governments do not advocate, support or defend their citizens suffering indignities while travelling abroad. Egypt is a horrible country. Stay away at all costs possible.
You know very well traveling as tourists its not an African way ,now slowly the African have start to travel, but until now sad to say the African citizens they did not had what to eat properly and had massive problems, the reason why African countries let in Western tourist in without visa is because they bring in the $ that everyone needs. And they come from a place where makes them with a risk 0 of working illegal. This is the only reason SA ask visitor visa for some African courtiers. Africa has only one way to eliminate this improve them local economies to create them middle class that travel on the continent and have the courtiers fight for African tourist not Western. Peace & Love, Bro. Create an African visa similar with Europe Schengen visa and you apply to all African Union members.

I hat traveling through Cairo airport am black i always have problem traveling on Egypt air because i have a European passport or because i had resident in a white county so they would take my passport away for checking making me the last person to board the aircraft they are totally racist against black's.
