Namibia is one of the most beautiful countries in Africa. Julia will tell us about the people, culture, cuisine and her life experiences living in America.
She's right about Namibia. I'm a Namibian living in New York and I can vouch for what she's said, the country is beautiful and well preserved. However, our population is way less than the land can accommodate. I was interested in exploring NYC, I first stayed in Queens, then moved to Manhattan, then to Harlem, and now I'm in the Bronx. I'll probably move to Brooklyn later before New Jersey. This episode makes me miss home a little. And I also want to agree with Julia when she said Namibians are friendly and welcoming, yes, don't be afraid to fly there, you'll feel at home right from the get go. The country is peaceful and safe for tourists, and there are many awesome attractions to visit and explore. Visit towns and places such as: Luderitz, Swakopmund/Walvisbaai, Tsumeb, Ruacana, Etosha National Park, Divudu, Grand Canyon and many others.
Hi guys, I'm shekupe...thats my twin right there 😇 and she's right you can be in two contrasting places at once because the Atlantic is cold AF which is hugged by the hot orange desert...hi Dinqo to answer your last question, no that wasn't Afrikaans (Afrikaans is a Dutch dialect), it was Oshiwambo and you nailed it🤩👏🏼
Hi Shekupe, your sister is such a great Namibian ambassador. Are you guys related to the Neumbo twins (Martha and Esther Neumbo)? They are also Shekupe and Nouwanga.
Well done Julia for selling our Country brilliant girl that is wonderful job. Let our brothers and sisters come to Namibia 🇳🇦 to explore and have an awesome experience in their life time.
Great video!!! Learned a lot. She did a great job explaining her country, her name and her perspective of NY based on her experiences in multiple countries. I appreciate her observation that some Americans knowledge of other countries is very limited. She didn’t say this but I will add that it is sad with our (Americans) limited knowledge we tend to be biased towards other countries with no factual knowledge about the country. Please continue to make these educational videos.
She is so precious. I think I will visit Namibia. I didn't even think of Namibia as a tourist spot. But now... I am seeing and hearing so much about Namibia and it's diversity that I feel I must visit. Thank you both for a very informative and delightful video.
If I'm not mistaken, the landscape is 3 times larger than GB. They are called mopane worms many people eat them with traditional porridge . And the northern east has the biggest and only quadripoint in the world :4 nations quadripoint. Well done Nuugwanga I like the way she speaks..
I'll be in Windhoek / Swakopmund in September 2023. It'd be great if you could share Julia's socials (if she's happy to), I could use a guide to show me around.
That's 3 month to go and just when winter ends and summer starts on the first Sunday of September. You will be welcome yo our country and you will enjoy it too.
I love the way you presented facts about Namibia Nuugwanga. Thank you for shining your light on Namibia. One thing I wish everyone in the world would know is that there is no language called 'African'. The brother asked at the end: 'is that African'? When she said thanks in Oshiwambo.
Thank you for your excellent videos, and may you stay safe and blessed. Miami Condo are dead and not missing, like the 800 in Chicago are dead. All lives matter, and it is dumb to think they are missing. Dead is dead, and we do not know how we will die, but money will not save us. Poor or rich, we die Bill Gates! Death comes for everyone and at any times, and the rich will not have an advantage, when your number is up. I rather be rich in good deeds, being a moral person, then having tons of STUFF, or being a heartless, selfish and a greedy devil! All Lives Matter!
