Wow! I had no idea when I saw America perform on Labor Day weekend in Pennsylvania that they had only been back together after the quarantine for a little over a month. They sounded INCREDIBLE!!! Man, I wish America would Headline with Kansas and call it the "Old Man Tour". Folk and Prog Rock, maybe a few tunes together, Tin Man, Dust in the Wind, etc would be a huge tour of two Great American Bands.

I have 3 of those plectrums from their tour here in England…caught one from Gerry and given the others. 😍 Also a few hand written running orders from the stage floor. We gave them a cricket bat set in the ‘meet’n greet’ to remind them of their roots😉🇬🇧

Good to see Dewey & Gerry back! I’m 57 and I grew up with this bands music. I have to say I sure miss Dan, sad that he died. Saw you guys with Three dog night years ago and what a great show that was. If I remember correctly all your gear had been sent to your next stop in Seattle due to your manager making a mistake and Three dog night let you do your set with their gear. I remember Gerry telling all of us in the audience at the Portland show how nice it was having the use of the equipment. Anyway love your music and great to hear you are all out and performing. You are legends!

We saw America in Corpus Christi, TX in July of '22 on the 50th anniversary Tour. Their February shows in Corpus and Tulsa, OK had been cancelled due to Covid. It was my first time seeing them since April of 1977 when I was a senior in HS. 90 minutes of sing-alongs and a trip down Memory Ln. Amazing how these guys had performed at least a hundred show for 50 years straight. Bunnell and Beckley still sound great and they're backed by great band.

Saw you guys tonight, last show of the tour, INCREDIBLE!! I thank you ❤️

Have always loved your harmonies, up there with the Beach Boys and Four Seasons for me. Horse with no name blew me a way when I first heard it as a teenager in 1982 but if I had an America song as a personal theme tune it would be Ventura Highway. What I really love is that you play such wonderful tunes and do it all so effortlessly.

50 years. Really? Fantastic sounding band and the vocal harmonies are unbelievable. The video montage throughout is an especially nice touch. The first time I saw them was 1976, again in 1988 and now in 2021. They just keep getting better! Live music is back and if you have the chance to see them, Go!

Always liked a lot of those sappy love songs you guys sang! We need more real love songs in the world! Actually, we need more Real music in the world right now. Decent music everyone can enjoy & Im sorry but that rap crap is NOT MUSIC! Seriously, there really isnt very much genuine music written or sung now days. Very few people can really sing. Rap & the filth that comes out now is not singing. Anyway, I will get off my soap box, lol! I do enjoy yr music & think you all are very talented. Dan was too & he found the most important thing in ALL the World!! (Plse know that Truth yrselves & cleve to it).🙏🏻 Now Dan is missed but we know he is with the Lord for all eternity!🙌🏼 Which is not far from any of us. Look how fast these years have rushed by!
