if hytale has overcrowded servers and it is pay to play that will probably not be very good for the game, however the overcrowded servers probably wont be that much of an issue by the time hytale drops because both the beta is going to be a thing and the sheer amount of time with the data the hytale team will have for the servers of the beta by the time it actually drops i bet the servers will be even better compared to when the beta will happen cus of the adjustments that could be made inbetween the end of the beta stages and the actual launch of hytale... i deeply hope for the success for this game and i really want to play it when it releases
Honestly I'd prefer to pay and have unlimited content... free and cosmetics is good too but I am scared it is also a long term gate to a marketplace with other extensions and such... I don't know what's best to be fair.
With free to play model game can maintain itself even without devs which considerably extends its lifetime like immortal minecraft. Of course devs must make money one way or another and they deserve it, but i can see now that making it Paid could waste its potential and would be shot in the foot
I think free would reach a wider range of people, and give access to people unable to afford it! Also, will there be first person in hytale? keep up the amazing work, I cant thank the devs enough!
The video may seem useless, but you are wrong, the game has not yet been confirmed whether it will be free or paid yet! For now we imagine it will be free but it's still just speculation little brother, thanks for the feedback!
