After almost 4 years We finally get these features in Genshin Impact
4.8 Just dropped today and we got a massive quality of life improvements and new features.
Quality of Life is essential for a video game. It helps players have better experience and makes the community healthy because players know that the developers are listening to players feedback and suggestion which a bit of a problem in Genshin Impact.
These new features in Genshin Impact were already long requested for years and it's just the improvements are slow. Well... better than nothing :) At least now it is already implemented in game.
Hide UI and Boss Respawn is the best so far in my opinion

@@iDontReallyKnowTbh Might want to tone down thier. This is a game. Everyone plays differently. Skip button should exist for those that want it. You don't want to skip, it has ZERO effect for you. Loadouts are needed because people want to play different charecters. Loading and unloading takes time and is a pain. Pretty simple reason no? Pretty easy to implement, no?

Even if they added it I still would skip, I would never skip the archon story, but maybe world quests. Genshin has really good story and lore, it’s kinda sad they would put so much effort and people would just skip. Unlike wuwa which is combat based.

And besides, there's a lot of QoL that WuWa managed to implement in its launch that Genshin has still not done in almost 4 years like you know, a skip button?

to be fair not only because of wuwa (i even doubt if wuwa have to do something with this knowing mihoyo) All this QoL features are preparing for Natlan 200 resin no CD for bosses higher drop chances for some mobs random fix for the most annoying dungeon the most random fix of the early quest for glider Storyboard history This are all fixes for future 5.0 update with new world level and new level cap at 100 They know that there will be new players checking for new update that is why they fix old stuff And players will need to farm more resources to upgrade characters to lvl 100

i'd suggest wuwa players get off their pedestal. i've been playing genshin since release and i remember the mass-fleeing to crk because it was generous. now if you look at the state of it 3 years later, it's p2w and the meta changes every patch. in fact, it's so p2w that even whales complained about it. just saying, you might not want to say some things you'll regret in a few years... there's a large chance your company will also become as greedy as hoyoverse and devsisters.

that's sadly a true possibility and only time will tell, BUT... 4 years in and genshin still stuck at square one in the most basic QoL improvements that even 20 years old games have. Is not the gacha itself that makes gi having a very bad player retention, is how the game is kept running with all the breaks pulled and barely any fuel in the tank. I started in 1.2 and stopped in 4.1...reason? Secondary quests that activate regardless of the player's will that block access to the darn MAIN quest. Should be the other way around, literally. Not to mention the huge amount of time wasting stuff, like repeating the same quest 4 times ( how many times do i have to clear the darn fog, thaw the shards, solve the same puzzle????? ) So is a mix of factors, greed is surely a big one, but is not the only one.

I can't think of a hangout suitable for checking this, so: has anybody seen if in "no UI" mode there's any indicator when the controls switch to stealth mechanics? This is something that trips up enough new players as it is, and since for whatever reason the Fortress of Meropide had a light stealth section that didn't use them I can't tell whether this was thought of, was overlooked, or an indicator the devs feel the stealth mechanics weren't fun and will be entirely removed at a later date.

A little tip: instead of teleporting away from a world boss and running back, just enter the practice mode with one of the characters on the banner and leave. It loads faster and you'll be in the same spot when you entered the domain.

Still no button to directly teleport to the open world boss. Still not that thing like on Star Rail where the open world boss is stuck in some quantum (or the Genshin equivalent) thing and you can choose the difficulty of the open world boss and the mats come according to the difficulty instead of random

Took long enough for the UI one, but shame the UID is still there and also I wish it toggled with the main combat related stuff and just hiding the controls/chat/settings and map, keeping the HP and characters during combat Also a smaller UI on KBM like controller users would be nice to have too

I think people are failing to criticize HSR just because it’s slightly better than Genshin but there’s still more things to improve in other games except Genshin for example why isn’t there a option to delete past quest resources in HSR and WuWa,why do all the other games except Genshin has no option to run a off piece in artifacts and why did it took them 1year to implement the new planar ornament system when it should have been form 1.0 of HSR I think it’s only wrong when Genshin is wrong but not for others this is just pure biased mindset

No matter what Hoyo does to give compensation or change, in my mind they have already destroyed my last trust in them as a good company ever since their so called 3 pulls reward in their anniversary, as all their current changes today that have been asked by the player based for years are just applied today just because there management pockets are being treatened by another competition. It's like an absive alcoholic partner hitting you once in a while and you asking for a change but he wont do it, but when you try to end this on going relationship for years, it just wants to chain you up again with a false smile and little gifts..

They’ve been giving us good QoL form the beginning of Fontaine (start of HSR) it will take them time to implement QoL from HSR to here because they have other things to develop like map which will take more time so it’s hard to do all at same time

@@zedeon6299 if I believed that Hoyo would implement QoL on short notice, I’d be foolish enough to believe that FGO would bring some revolutionary gameplay in their game. How many version has it been since they proposed to spend our resin in order to get encounter points? And even after that it was executed badly. So yeah Hoyo is second only to Lansengle when it comes to procrastination.

nah, competition ( that kicked Genshin out of first place on global in June) came up, Hoyo is starting to feel its monopoly not that " rock solid" anymore.

there's only one genshin killer and that's Hoyoverse. Third paties, if they play smart, can only take advantage of this and they should.

They probably won't, it's annoying but it at least makes people somewhat have an idea what is going on in the story and the world.I play WuWa and skipped some parts and i genuinely have no idea or interest in the story and game, I just play it sometimes for the amazing combat otherwise it feels awefully boring.Though we need skip button for repetitive commissions.

@@JustASusViewer u can say that, though personally the relaxing environment and sound tracks is also my reason to play genshin, and WuWa despite a bit boring story have amazing Cinematic visuals too in the main story quests.
