During our midweek Fresh Start experience, Pastor Diego goes through scripture to help us understand on what we are called to do after we make the decision to get baptized.
Good day to you. I am curious to know about your spiritual journey and how your life has changed since you became a born-again Christian. I was recently baptized and born again on May 29th, and while I experienced immense joy immediately afterward, the days leading up to it and the days that followed have been challenging for me, filled with persistent bad luck is what I'm calling it. Despite these difficulties, I have unwavering faith that God and our Savior Jesus Christ will always be with me. I wish you the very best in life and pray that you are experiencing God's blessings.
This guy doesn't butter up stuff to make others feel pleased... He speaks the truth using the Bible and he doesn't care about what you think... it's the truth... may God bless this man
Congratulations I'm being baptized! Because you are going to have a fine life with God and you are going to walk with God and now that your sins have been washed away from the old Spirit the new spirit will now take its place. And the thing that you must know is that you will start walking with the Lord and you will do things differently then you did before under the old spirit. Add that is why I will soon be baptized myself after giving my life to Jesus back on April 7th 2024! Keep walking with the Lord and one day you will end up being with the Lord when you get to heaven soon!
The walk: tithe, dedication to Christ, serving others, witness to others, develop the faith and be strong. Be obidence, love others, depend on the lord, learning to pray. Resist temptation by standing in the lord, the Bible drives our relationship and choices.
That's why there are some bad habits we need to get rid of. That is why I do believe that when I start walking in the Lord I will feel better about walking with the Lord and learning about what he stands for! And we have to do this before the second coming of Christ!
Now I know about what baptism really is. And I do believe that what we see here is very simple, that what happens after baptism is that your sins will be washed away the old spirit will die and the new one will take its place! That is why that prayer that is being said before baptism needs to come into play me for the baptism, and after that you will be resurrected your soul will be resurrected onto the body of Christ after you have been baptized!
I am in MEXICO, but live in Wisconsin. Two years ago my wife and I found a very Bible based church, 7th Day Adventist. I am now preparing to be baptized in two weeks. PTL. hallelujah. Pray that my Catholic wife would feel convicted to join me in this spiritual adventure, deeper life and service. This was the first time I heard Pastor Diego. God bless this convincing and heart felt pastor.
I was born a Baptist. At what I have found in my life is that there are sins that need to be washed away and what baptism does is just that your sins are washed away the old spirit will die and the new one will take its place! That is why that before you get baptized you need to say the prayer into the baptism ceremony.
Pastor Diego Mesa's sermon on After Baptism is up there with Morris Venden a fantastic lesson on what we need to do after full immersion baptism - I thank the Lord for showing the path to this video.
Heavenly Father, Bless that angel that just came before my eyes today. I thank you for that word and appreciate of the wisdom and knowledge I need to move forward down this path that Lord God has for me. I ask Lord God, that you shield me and strengthen me as I do these works you have given to me. I will steadily feast in your word and have faith that you will accept me through Jesus the Lamb of God. Protect me from my enemies, and if myself be of a enemy I ask that you father keep the uncleanness away. Throw me in the washer machine of the Holy Spirit and wash me away from my old self and old doings. Bring on the new changes as I already am noticing a shift. Love you god! You are holy! You are worthy of my praise and warship! In Father God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, Amen!
Pastor Diego Mesa is a True Man of the Most High GOD. I grew up around Him. My Grandmother Helen Plummer Loved Pastor Diego since He was younger. 🙏🏽🙌🏽♥️😇
Great sermon but water baptism has no power nor is it necessary for salvation, born of the Spirit is a must! Jesus in you walks us through sanctification 🙏 you and I can not do it without the Holy Spirit it will only be works! Thank you Jesus
