Great tutorial! For a perfect arrow head, I used the Star Tool to draw a star, then changed the number of points to 3 (under Polystar > Polystar path > Type). Thanks for the easy-to-follow tutorial!

Thanks alot Mickey i am having a problem with the start , end stroke animation and the arrow head position sometimes the stroke is faster than the arrow sometimes it the opposite i think it an issue of keyframes timing any ideas or opinions?

That's nice. However, how we can change the color in between like when stock gets drop I want to change the color then again when gets up color get changed to the particular that time line only. Please help and let me know. Many thanks!

when I paste the mask path into the position of the arrow head, when I hit play, the arrows travel along the path, but at the inverse direction of the original path (from end to start instead of from start to end). How can I solve this? please. thanks!

It won't work for me. I copied the mask, and then pasted it on the path option after I painted a small line. The small line won't turn into the path I made, and there are no Start & End options. Help!

Check your keyframes. Both layers' start and end keyframes need to be in the same position.

That's complicated man the easy way to fo this : - creat new shape layer - pen tool creat the line Don't close it . In the time line underneath the shape layer open the small arow click go for TRIMP SHAPE . And play with the key frame start end on two minutes. I know the tuto old but I hope this can help new learner and new visitors to this tutorial.

When I put the solid layer on top of a layer with an image on it, none of the blend modes will allow the arrow to be seen properly with the colour I chose for it. It becomes a light yellow or invisible. How can I solve this problem?

I added the Keylight 1.2 effect and used it as with chroma key. The color of the solid disappeared, leaving only the line. Worked for me ;)

I made the solid background green and then Ultra Keyed the composition in Premiere :)

There's an easier way to do this.. 1 create a path with the pen tool. 2 click the drop arrow of the pen path layer in the timeline, then click add, then click trim paths. 3 click the drop arrow for trim paths, then create an animation using to key frame with different values. 4 Create a shape layer (like an arrow head shape). 5 Use the pan behind tool to place the anchor somewhere within the shape. 6 Click the drop arrow of the pen path, content, then shape, the copy the path (of the pen layer). 7 Make sure the time indicator is on the first key frame of the trim path animation then Paste the path to the position of the (arrowhead) shape layer. Then select all the key frames that are produce, then, while holding ALT, click and drag the last key frame until it lines up with the last trim paths key frame. Don't forget to click layer>transform>auto orient for the shape layer then rotate it as explain in the video. Hope this helped!
