WASSUP GUYS, BAKER HERE! I have been asked (probably close to 100 times) on how to do Sam's zooming transitions and his sky dissolve transitions. Even though I've done these tutorials already, today I'm going to briefly describe what he uses. Hopefully you will find this tutorial first, before asking me how to do it. Ever since Kolder blown up on IG, everyone's been copying his style. Don't get me wrong he's a game changer and great inspiration to many aspiring creators. However, I'm surprised Kolder or any other the other IG/RU-vidrs don't recognize your work.

Look up Watch Tower of Turkey. That artist is the original.

Jake Irish um not quite the same effect. That Turkey editor used clever editing skills using objects in the frame mixed with the rolling shutter from the camera (very smooth but not much AE tweek). Baker is the one who started the "smooth transition with blur" as far as I can tell:) But both look amazing nonetheless!!

I'm pretty sure the artist that I mentioned used a motion tile effect on a lot of his transitions; similar to what baker did. Minus the blur..

gonna apologize in advanced for not giving you credit when i used your transition, although i feel more inclined to move away from it because of all its use. this isnt sam kolders transition, its yours dude. FINALLY, credit where it's due. I'd personally be quite mad if I was Baker, those transitions are a staple in Sam and many other videographers style and it annoys me when people ask how it's done when this guy made it so long ago. Props Baker.

The funny thing is people just wanna be given effects now. No one wants to go out and look or try them on their own. If people would take the time and do some investigating, they would of known you've done both of these tutorials in the past. None the less amazing video and for the people who have been asking for the effects you finally got them! :)

Griffin Kerwin nothing wrong with that. Most people just do not know what the effect is called and how could they know it has been taught in Baker's RU-vid channel before? I would take 'now' over 'investigating' any time. Doesn't mean I don't and won't investigate.

bro.. im soo glad to see this from you! you're pretty much the original creator of this! I had no idea you had made a preset for this! ive always followed you but After Effects its a overwelming program and im soo eager to learn it and thats why i missed some of your post! I just recently started watching Sam Kolder video, yes they're amazing! but now a days there are a lot of presets are made and easy to use, im sure he uses a lot of presets and tweaks them, even a bunch of LUTs are out there, very easy! im basically just saying you make things from scratch, from the ground up like Andrew Kramer from Video Copilots! I made a purchase of your preset to give it a try.

I really like the transition but honestly I'm saddened that many many editors in different communities have abused your preset. Their video quality wouldn't up to par without it and that disappoints me because at first I was like wow this is amazing only to find out they didn't create it but used someone else's creativity and took it as their own.
