The life you choose affects not only your life but your family's life as well. FG signed up for that life so he gotta take what comes with it and that includes prison... He's lucky he's not dead. Alex and FG need a book. The contradictions are overwhelming. FG speaks with compassion and honesty about the losses his kids took because someone else was dishonorable but the collective pain he HELPED spread to his community by serving yay to families still resonates in generational curses today. I heard FG on his own channel talk about being a football coach for our youth. He is a King David. A shepherd for many and wolf to some. Salute to him for abiding by his rules and creating a new testament for the next version of him to learn from. Mob James was his Goliath, he had to play his part.

Alex I appreciate your intellect and your work, but you said something on another platform that I disagree with, and because AOC had just said the same thing a couple fans before. You said something kicked, 'I don't want to criticize people for going out and doing what they need to do to feed their families." I had 1 uncle who was in gangs in L.A. in the 50s, when they fought racists who tried to overrun their South Central neighborhoods. He did 16 years in prison. 2 uncles and an auntie who were in the Slausons with Barry White, and went to Jacob Riis High School with him. The aunt and 1 of the uncles got careers, like their other brother and sister already had, and got on the right path, and the uncle stayed in the streets and was in and out of camps and CYA. He is now a church deacon. I went to Bret Harte Jr Hi, and met Raymond Washington there, and we went to Washington High where he met Tookie Williams. During all those years, the aerospace, steel, and automotive industry were everywhere, and many brothers had learned skills in shop classes and went right work, making $20, and I'm talking 1970 and beyond. Everybody I knee that hit the streets to hustle and gangland did it to impress women, or just to belong to something. I had seen jail too much visiting my uncles and wanted no part of the shit. AOC said the same thing you said, when a bunch ransacked a Rite Aide in her NY district, and the Rite Aid closed down. That's jobs lost, and there likely many minorities working there. We have vacant lots sitting empty in L.A. from both the '65 and '92 riots. Raymond Potts gets credit for being one of the founders of the 8-Trey Crips, and his uncle was my best friend. We lost him last October. You may know this, but the decades-old war between the 8-Treys and Rolling Sixties started about a woman. Do rationalize the destruction of our community.
