If your street is privately maintained you have to pay the costs to have a private road.

When you want private roads you can not ask the county for help because public has no access to the road. No different that private roads in New England when the snow falls. The owners have to pay the bill to plow the road not the country. That goes for all maintenance as well. The only people that can to use a private road are police and fire and if they have been given permission by the owners.

Roads should be closed so NO cars can't drive through the high water!
