Agreed - in many ways it is superior to a day with Lightning Lanes because you don’t have to bother with booking them and - most importantly - you can jump in whichever queue you want and do so again and again if you’d like. It’s a very fun night.

@@EarScouts Absolutely! And getting from one area to the next is SO much faster. We've literally had the hypothetical discussion (since they don't offer it every day at every park) that if they DID offer After Hours if it would be better to ONLY do After Hours instead of regular tickets. It's not an option, and there's a lot to be said about missing a LOT of the park experience with After Hours...even with the overlapping times...from the foods to the shows that you just can't do After Hours. But SO much about EVERYTHING ELSE about the "better" of After Hours, almost might make it worth it. We usually come down for about a week or so. And we snag every After Hours we can while we're there. Sleep in, do Disney Springs, hang out at the resort...then ease over to the park. We absolutely LOVE After Hours for EVERY reason you mentioned in the video. NOT TO MENTION...on the way out, we have literally had this exchange with a popcorn guy: "Can we still get some popcorn?" "Sure! How many do you need?" "(we exchange looks, and our popcorn fiend son says) "How many can I get?" Turns out the answer was four boxes handed to him at once. No line, no crowds, and all the popcorn you can carry...it's totally worth it!! HAHA!!

Wow - interesting! When we did it, we were staying at a resort and were bummed out that there was no monorail (we were at Poly). We had to take a bus to Poly, but it was quick at least. That’s awful that it took so long. 55 minutes feels even longer when it is after 1am. 🙁

Aww - thanks so much. 😊 It’s hard to say what days will be crowded anymore - it all seems somewhat random these days. I remember many days in March being dead last year, but then some weekends were packed with Spring Breakers. You could check the various crowd calendars online, but I haven’t found them to be super reliable since things reopened from the pandemic. Hopefully that will be during one of those lulls I remember from last year. 🤞

Hi Beth! Yes, they don’t do special characters at MK. Last year, there was nothing special at MK for After Hours, but this year they are doing special showings of Enchantment (the fireworks show from the 50th Anniversary).

Hi Mary! They are currently scheduled through April, but they also just added some new dates. They usually do After Hours at Typhoon Lagoon in the summer months, but it would be cool to have some events in the main parks, as well. Hello! First off, thanks for watching our videos! I think it’s best to only choose one at 7 am because you can’t see return times during that first 15 minutes or so. For that reason, there’s no point in having more than 1 because it will just add clutter. Once you can see return times, I think it can be good to have 2-3 selected to give you more chances to score a good return time. More than 3 means you might miss out on a good time because you have to sift through them and may not tap through fast enough. Good luck with those Genie Slots! 🧞‍♂️🎰

Hi Sharon! I would eat before going or right at 7. Your food options at HS during the event will be Woody’s Lunch Box, Anaheim Produce cart on Sunset Blvd and the Milk Stand & Oga’s Cantina in Galaxy’s Edge.

Still alternating, unfortunately. My understanding from talking to Cast Members is that they have a shortage of lifeguards and can’t seem to hire enough to cover both water parks and all the resorts. Hopefully that will change soon. 🤞

Hello! It really depends on the ride. The procedure is a little different at each attraction and you basically just have to ask the cast member at the entrance. Some rides like TRON will have a Rider Switch Setup station set up before you reach the entrance. As for Genie, they usually want each person to tap in when they ride, not all at once when the first person rides. Hope that helps.

They do! But note that the Skyliner and boats do not, so you have to use buses for those resorts.

I think it depends on the night. Some nights they let folks in a little early if everyone is ready to roll with the wristbands, etc - but you can’t count on them opening up until 7. Hope you enjoy the event!

Hello! Unfortunately, there are not typically special characters or free food at Extended Evening Hours, but the crowds can be similar during slower times of the year. If the parks are busy, though, EEH tends to be busy as well. There are a LOT of people at all those different Deluxe and DVC resorts. 😅
