I live in Seattle and I was paying $1800 for a 1 bedroom very small apartment in a rough area. I decided to move 30 minutes outside of Seattle and rent a 3 bedroom house with a huge yard and I’m only paying $1595 for it. There’s definitely perks with moving. I hope you enjoy your new place!

It was very sweet of you to invite us into your world. You most definitely made the right decision!! Always follow your gut and try not to second guess decisions. You and Gracie will love having more space. Your new place looks great!! Can't wait to see how you'll arrange all your artwork on the walls. We also are re-located Northerners and Florida definitely needs NY style deli's, bagels and pizza. I judge deli's by their cole slaw and pizza places by their sauce and meatballs. Do not move west of Disney. The traffic jams are horrible. Orlando nick name is the city beautiful and around Michigan ave and Orange ave is great.

Congrats on the move. Very exciting. Rents are crazy. In 2018 we rented a house in Clermont Fl for $1655. It’s now renting for $2300. We ended up coming back to our home state. I’m still hoping to move back to Florida some day.

I just LOVE these apartment video's! I actually like when you do something different. Everyone's rent is going up and they charge for everything. If your location is good than you made out well on this move. Location is everything. Your apartment looks brand new or refurbished and very large. Don't overlook renting a small house as well; my friends were living in an apartment. Their rent got raised so high that they looked into renting a house. Now, this is NOT next to Disney World so you can't compare; but they found out renting this house turned out to be cheaper than their apartment.

Money wise, this sounds like a good choice. Hopefully traffic to and from the Parks works out for you. You should have an apartment warming party when ready and invite all the O-Town/Disney vloggers like Adam The Woo, Jackie, etc for a big crossover event. I think viewers enjoy the SuperFriends Crossovers and being exposed to different Vloggers.

WAY BETTER!!! When you said you were originally paying 1200 a month and they are now asking 1880, just 3 years later, I was shocked, especially for a small place. Moving is difficult, but I definitely think it was a wise decision. Even the Publix looks really nice. Also, the area seems much quieter and less traffic. It's always better, when you can go to the action, and then go home to peace and quiet, not construction and traffic. Best Wishes for your new adventure!

It's probably a good idea to not buy a home right now. I'm a bit older than you Nate, and I've seen a couple inflations/recessions in my life. With interest rates rising home sales will slow. Slower homes sales usually equate to lower home prices. However, decreasing interest rates doesn't usually follow the lower home prices. It all a big, and difficult game to decide when it's the right time to buy. Just do your due diligence, and you'll be ready when the right time hits. Good luck. BTW, our first trip to WDW was on our honeymoon in 1977. Irlo Bronson (92) was a 2 lane road, and the Magic Kingdom was surrounded by orange groves. Things has surely changed since then. Speaking of changes, 2 two day passes to the Magic Kingdom were $24.00. :)

So happy for you and Gracie! We just moved from Camden World Gateway Our rent for a 3 bedroom was going up almost $600 a month. Being that close to Disney was great, especially since both my sons work at Epcot. Would love to live in the area you moved to but opted to purchase a townhome in Meadow Woods. About 1000 sq. ft larger with a garage and even with tolls and hoa, it's less than what renting would be! I hope you really enjoy your new home and hope it's always filled with joy! Congratulations!

We did the same exact thing a few years ago. We moved away from the Millenia area from a 1 bd/1bth apt to a 3 bed/2bth house. The price was more but felt way more worth the price. We still miss the ease of being so close to everything and traffic can suck now. But I don’t think we’d change anything. There’s extra space and it’s a bit safer and it’s still reasonably close. You’ll be happier in the long run.

Nate, I am late to this video… But that apartment looks incredible. Much better than your old one. I’m sure you enjoy the extra space. It’s just nuts. What rent is going for pretty much anywhere. but to be so close to Disney and be able to enjoy that Florida sun, it’s priceless. I didn’t realize you were from Pennsylvania. That’s where I am from, I’m currently in Ocean City Maryland. Try to get the Florida at least once a year, since Covid, I haven’t been there in about three or four.. though I plan to do so sometime soon. In any case, hope all is well and you’re enjoying yourself. Your personality and attitude is amazing. Definitely a shining star in this somewhat negative world.

yeeeeeeeeees Chicken tender pub subs are legendary. Congrats on the new move. New place is amazing. I always said when/if I hit the lottery I am moving to the Disney area for sure. Been a Disney addict since my parents first took us in the 70s. Stumbled on your channel and will be back. Can't wait for my next trip in a few months. I like the 192/Irlo Bronson area in Kissimmee. SO much to do on that road. Old Town is a favorite to visit on a Friday or Saturday night with the car shows. Best wishes with your new place.

You’ll love hearing the fireworks. I’m behind Disney in another community, and after 5 years of being here, absolutely love it. Moving is hard, but sometimes necessary. Good luck on your move.

yeah, that's like a mortgage for good size house much bigger than 600ft in many places in florida. So definitely understand moving out. love that Publix in celebration. we have stocked up there many times.

I live in central FL & everyday where I work at someone is quitting to move out of state because of the rent is so high. But I’m happy you found a great place to call home.

I remember my first townhome in Winter Garden. The mortgage was less than $500 a month!. A close ride up 535 to Disney employee entrance. It looks like you found a nice place. I hope you and Gracie are happy there. I can't believe how calm she is when getting the pup cups. My dogs attack me when the pup cup comes and make it hard for me to pay and drive away!
