@@jessica-qh5zh the movie missed a lot of details and plot events from the book. It is true that the second movie was rushed because they tried to fit in everything that happens in the book but the first one is very slow and there aren’t enough dialogues. They changed some things like for example the bet Hardin made was actually to take tessa’s virginity. Hardin’s personality in the second movie is more similar to the book, and the first movie Hardin is nothing like it. They also didn’t show that in the first and second books zed was trying to get with Tessa bc he was fighting with Hardin to take her virginity too. In the movie Tessa and zed barely even talk.

Honestly, as much as I'm glad the After movies introduced me to these actors *cough cough Hero* and helped their careers skyrocket, as well as their followers and shit, I feel like After would've had more success and less hate if this was made earlier like 2014-2017 and it was made into a tv series instead. It would've given the story more time to develop just like the books, cus ngl the movies were HELLA rushed.

this and after we collided had SOOOO much potential. such a shame they had a shit first director, had to re cast several times and basically change the complete storyline in the first movie which affected the second one (and will do for the next two)

She didn't ditched college the second movie explored their lives outside college so there were not much college scenes except the frat party and you can clearly see her going to college in the third part
