Philip Lemine , I'm sorry that happen to you. It's never good when people don't show up to a birthday party. What that is about is a young boy that has been through a lot in he's life at such a young age. And he survived the surgeries he went through and had to deal with a lot of pain to. He's mom and him were hoping on his ninth birthday with what he's been through and survived that he would have friends from school come to his birthday. That hurt them both, being a mom she couldn't handle what just happen to her boy so she did something about it. The news noticed it and wanted to show what happened to others and was recognized for it. I feel sorry for that boy and I didn't like that to happen I know that happens people don't show up to birthdays. and you're not the only one who feels like that my son just had his sixth birthday a couple of days ago and I invited family. He's autistic and the only people showed was my husband's brother's family those are the only people that showed and that hurt like hell for me to. I was angry and hurt, I was also happy and thankful for my brother in-law and sister in-law who came with their kids. We as people should appreciate each other and acknowledge other people especially on birthdays cuz you never know what you're doing to that person.
