The tissues made me really sad. I saw your other video about the letter you found that she wrote. I can only imagine how many tears she shed and I feel the tissues represent that. You’re an angel and you give people hope. I just know the Lord smiles down on you. ❤
I recently helped my boyfriend clean his room up. It took several days and many trashbags as it was the result or years of depression. It broke my heart abytime we uncoverd half filled trash bags and he immediately started talking about how hard he tried to fix things on his own. It is so much cleaner now and only needs some organizing and vacuuming. We found so much stuff he thought hed never see again and he feels so much better and more hopeful. Doing one room of that has given me so much more respect for all the work you do (even though i had a lot) and im so glad you can give people the relief that he felt when we were able to walk around that room again.
1. You’re young, so please protect your back. The bending, lifting, and twisting is what destroyed by back. 2. You’re an angel. The woman probably feels like a very heavy weight has been lifted.
Ya i used to have a cleaning business and kept my home immaculate but over time it tore my body up so bad I'm physically disabled from that and 2 car wrecks. Now i don't have anyone or any help n don't know where to turn. These awesome people seem to only do super bad hoarding homes not really dirty cluttered homes. So after searching hard to find help I'm hopeless.

As a 70+ single woman who has lived with depression for close to sixty years, I can only say that you are an angel. For some people this is a new beginning. For others it is a temporary respit. Your videos make me feel like I can tackle my depression messes. They’re not at this level, but seeing someone as kind and compassionate and empathetic as you makes me feel like anything is possible❤
I hope she gets therapy to help her in being able to throw out food garbage like that so she doesn't relapse. It is so so hard to find a therapist that specializes in hoarding. Also, I am glad that the floor itself looks clean once cleared.
Big shout out to that friend, awesome way to support someone who needs and deserves it. The real friend that's at your side through good and bad because they always want you to have better.
It made me so happy to see the dog, nice clean brushed coat, good weight, happy, wagging his tail.... Even going through a dark time where it's hard to take care of herself, the lady is still taking good care of her fur babies ❤️🩹

It has to be done that way in Canada. Blue for recycles, green for wet garbage, clear for garbage and maybe more depending on where you live. It's 5 sorting where I live.
I've been watching cleantok videos all week and everyone has motivated me to clean my whole bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and deep clean the fridge. I'm just going until I lose steam 🚂

I had to do this for my mom and for my foster siblings mom so they could finally go home to her and they both flew out to tackle my disaster after my newborn passed away and I went from a vibrant person to just a shell for a year. I remember how overwhelming getting started can be , how labor intensive it gets and also how much weight is off their shoulders when its done. Its not just tidying up it gives them a clean slate to keep working on themselves from and room to do that work instead of the walls closing in around them. You are amazing and deserve so much more credit for the empathy and impact you are making in others lives

Great job! You are doing an absolutely wonderful thing for other people. I guess I started doing hoarder houses with my own family, three teenage sons who can't clean anything for some reason. And a very resilient hoarder husband in denial. He's gone now but man some of the rooms he had were really really disgusting. Didn't matter. I love them. Anyway. I just got a bunch of contractors bags and cleaned all that nonsense up. So much happier now. And last month I did my first hoarder house and I got halfway through it so I think that's pretty good before the anxiety was too much for them. I'm still working on it so pray for me that I can get that done for them
Thank you for recycling! However, if someone reading this is struggling and has recycling piling up or plastic containers in the fridge with moldy food...just throw it straight into a big trash bag and let it go. It's okay.

I think it's wonderful what you do, but please always look after yourself first. Especially your back and your knees. A kneeling stool, trash bag holder and those 'scooping hands' they use outdoors for leaves would be a start. Wishing you all the best. X
If you want to ease your workload, a couple of tall wide mouth laundry baskets that you can line them with the size and capacity of your trash and recycling bags you can fill your bags quicker and sort n throw recyclables/trash as you go quicker as it holds the bag open, also leaf raking grabbers that look like bin lids, you put your hand through a strap on the back realy help to grabs loads of lightweight trash too ❤

I know what it's like to be overwhelmed, but thankfully, I haven't been in this position, but we all could be if life got too hard for us to manage. I'm praying she finds the help she needs to ensure she doesn't get back here again.
When it starts to get even a quarter of this bad is often when it becomes too much. Even beginning to clean up seems impossible and progressively gets worse. You are doing God’s work on earth and helping these people breathe easy and live with some relief. Thank you.

Speak to your local council - they may be able to hook you into someone in your community or a service like RSL. If not, ask if you can speak with a social worker and see what benefits you may qualify for to be able to pay for this service. Wishing you the best and good on you for starting.
I don’t know how you can do this. I had to clean out a dead relatives house who was a hoarder. It was concentrated in the kitchen and 2 bedrooms. After a month of only getting halfway through one bedroom, I had to hire someone. (I did the kitchen… it was so bad). Just thinking about it triggers my gag reflex. Nice part is the estate sale for the salvageable stuff is this weekend.
My aunt was a hoarder before she died, I spent a vacation that I earned driving 2 1/2 hours to help her clean some rooms of her house. Luckily she wasn’t a garbage hoarder. She was just a hoarder of things. She was a morbidly obese person never married no children. After that house got cleaned up. We sold it and she moved in with my parents and lived with them for 10 years. Depression is the number one issue, I have suffered from depression myself going through menopause and so forth and life struggles, but I have never let my house get that bad. I will say I have had a hoarder closet, and I do clean it every six months.
How do I find someone in my area who does this? My mother struggled with this issue her entire life, it progressed and got worse the older she got and she Eventually ended her life. I know this was a contributing factor in that decision and now I’ve noticed another family member facing similar struggles. Several cleaning ladies have quit, no showed, or never returned. I’ve helped, my children have helped but it’s just too much to be able to get done all at once and I’m not able to commit to multiple days in a row.
Only they can fix their behavior. You can help but never expect mental illness to be corrected with a clean up. Your friend also needs therapy, outlets, and aid to help stymy the impulse.
