@@ANDREW-bq4duthere is a verse in Surah An-Nisa which talks about that, and it's talking about responsibilites and not the way they're treated. it's a duty for men to provide for their family and even non-Muslims can agree.
No statues, no pictures of prominent figures, no drums, pianos, music, songs, dancing, no priests forgiving your sins, no mediators, just pure prayers to the only true God, Allah, reading Quran, hymning his praise, glorifying him etc

@user-qg5zc1kf4f because we are born with the natural submission to our Creator (fitrah). When we are raised by our parents as Christians, Jews, etc and decide to become Muslims, we revert back to our initial stage, we do not "convert" to it

I’m a Muslim and was born a Muslim, I haven’t went to a masjid for sooooooo long, please pray one day I get the chance to go, I have strict parents they won’t allow, they say stuff like we never went to a masjid and you want to go, it’s not far, but they are just not letting😭
U said u were born muslim so ur patents are How come somone claim he is muslim and refuses to go to بيوت الله and pray to him there not stop there but also preventing other from doing so Out of faith we have been tought by prophit mohammed pbah that the 5 obigatory prayers should be done in jamaah (group pray) and the place u picked and used to perform this group prayer is called mosque its not about the building even if it does not have a building to begen with lets say its open clean land with a roof but so long there are ppl choosed to gather there and pray and glorify allah there for a time its a mosque So its not the building . Its what ppl do there is what make a place a mosque
Brother, disobey your parents right away because your parents are stopping you from obeying ALLAH SWT and go to the masjid even if they get angry. "We have commanded people to honour their parents. But if they urge you to associate with Me what you have no knowledge of, then do not obey them. To Me you will ˹all˺ return, and then I will inform you of what you used to do." Quran 29:8 According to Muslim, Tirmidhi, Ahmad, Abu Daud and Nasai, this verse was sent down in respect of Saad bin Abi Waqqas. He was 18 or 19 years old when he embraced Islam. When his mother, Hamnah, daughter of Sufyan bin Umayyah (neice of Abu Sufyan), came to know that her son had become a Muslim, she said, “I will neither eat nor drink nor sit in shade unless you disown Muhammad. The rights of the mother are superior even according to Allah’s command. Therefore if you disobey me, you will be disobeying Allah too.” Saad was perplexed and came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and told this entire story. At that, this verse was revealed. Possibly other young men who embraced Islam in the initial stage at Makkah were also confronted with similar situations. Therefore, the same theme has been repeated forcefully in (Surah Luqman: Ayat 15) also.
