This in-person Post-Elections Briefing analysed the results of the European elections of 6-9 June and their potential impact on the new EU political cycle. How will the share of votes for different parties influence the composition of the next European Parliament and its work? How will the outcome impact the nomination of the new EU leadership, especially the next Commission President? Do the results and the electoral campaign offer clues about the EU’s priorities and the Commission's work programme in the new mandate? What does the turnout tell us and what impact will these results have at the member states level?
