I corrctley tuned the gains on the Lemon Gyro and now I can handel her. Running a Spektrum 2200 3s Smart Lipo in her. Wonderful Wife on the camera! Please Like and Suscribe
Try this one on a 4S 2200 mAh battery. Mine was a 50C battery and I had the most amazing flight. 3S 2200 was good. 4S was incredible. I only use 55% expo on rudder and 45% expo on ailerons. Everything has maximum travels available. She tumbles and hovers like a dream with that 4S pack. She is just not quite powerful enough to be comfortable post-stall on 3S. I did check out all the electronics and they are good for 2S-4S, so if you feel like having some more fun with her I'd definitely recommend it!
i have a 90c 3s, and the plane can hover then start pulling up easy, is there any point of 4s then? in my case plane is not lacking power, its lacking a better pilot :P
Thank you for all the great how to videos. I have a FMS super viper with installed V2 reflex. I have a spectrum 6 channel Receiver. No matter what I do the esc just beeps after binding and i Get no response on any channel. I followed the online sequence from receiver to reflex and have moved wires around to different channels to no avail. This reflex unit was preinstalled and should be a plug and play following directions? If i bypass the reflex and just use the spectrum receiver the plane works fine. How the heck do you make these two work. My spectrum receiver is not an AS3X, its just a standard receiver. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Dave
This plane needs 7 channels if you want all that the reflex can do. But if you are ok with just the AS3x or optimized mode only then just plug the reflex into your bing port like you do the bing plug. It only needs power and you get the optimized mode or (fms version of as3x) by default. Now plug everything into the receiver as it should be labeled from the reflex and plug the sbus into the receiver AFTER you have bound the plane. IF I remember correctly the throttle should be going directly to the receiver from the esc if it is not then make it so! Now bind the plane to the receiver and then plug in your sbus from the reflex to the bind port on the receiver. Everything should now work correctly and the reflex should be steady beeping red. Your plane will work with gyro only (as3x or optimized mode) and everything else should be normal.
Looks good, was thinking about getting the Eflight version of that one. But might just get the new Timber X. I’m not a 3D kinda guy. I probably will need SAFE.
Well you do not havr to fly the Timber X 3d . She flies around just fine without doing a bunch of tricks. Just remember the wing is shorter and she is very responsive.
Flies great, please, share settings for low rates (or is it the rates from the instructions?). I crashed mine out of necessity when landing, too high rates were setup :( But the glue gun works wonders! :)
Thanks for watching. Sorry for slow response. Here are my settings. high rate= 100/30 mid rate = 70/35 low rate 50/40. thats %of throws over %of expo. I dont ever use the measurement of how far to set the travel I have alwas used percentages.
Wonderful 3d bird on 4s/2200 smart up to 5 minutes flight. UNTIL, ur stock junk rsc, even tho rated 4s, thermals n shuts down at 3 minutes (last flight) doing crazy 3d. Crappy esc cost me the best 3d goam i own, including my eflite extra 300!🤯 V3 is available now! WILL be swapping out the stock esc for the ztw 60a. (6s capable 😁)
I just got one of these today and I was wondering what your thoughts were to how it flies and if you like it ? You have many planes so I trust your opinion !
