Yes, I don't give a shit about warhammer. It feels like a fantasy aimed at edgy 12 year olds. I quit after Attila. Will happily play and watch euiv until the next historical game. I could excuse 1 warhammer game as a fun diversion but a trilogy with no historical titles is absurd.

Gregory Bycraft I enjoy both historical and fantasy Total War, got Rome II mid 2016 (played with DeI mod after 150 hours, for a good 200 hours now), still getting into warhammer 1 and W2 is just around the corner. And, Total War Saga is coming as a historical series, so I think we can both look forward to that happily :)

Jimmy Savile shogun 2 is Hella colourful, don't know about warhammer but it doesn't look that drab... Drab is medieval 2. I know they wanted a dark ages doom and gloom feel but it's so fucking gray

There were many problems at launch but to my knowledge they fixed most of them. I played it as late as today and loved it. I do still think the earlier ones were better but Rome 2 is an alright game now after the many patches.

RTW2 had by far one of the best campaign modes, however the combat mechanic was one of the worse, so if you just auto every battle, the game was great, but if you enjoyed playing vs the CPU, it wasnt that great t. rome total war loser

i got rome2 on launch.... I dont remember much of the details but literally everything you could think of was either broken, bugged or just poorly designed. especially the campaign map which is nothing but seiges, ironic since CA wanted to have less seiges but all they actually did was remove the mechanics that made field battles have any purpose at all like the towns and villages on the map outside of the settlements themselves. and that absolutely cancerous "army" mechanic of making units only able to exist in stacks with generals and not being able to just have as many units in as many stacks as you want, which A ruined a huge amount of depth and B made generals pointless since if they die you get a new one for free because you HAVE to have a general. basically dumb design that does the opposite of what its supposed to do and only dumbs the game down and ruins things that were already perfectly fine. CA is now cancer and killed the total war franchise with AAA "streamlining"
