Hey man i love your narrative style. Watching other total war videos is just watching them play the game and going optimal route or whatever meanwhile i feel like im watching a brilliant general struggling against the hardships of the world in an alternate universe while watching you. Here is my idea regarding the strategy: raise a strong army in the mainland and invade northern france meanwhile abandoning northern italy settlements and pushing north towards your other army with the other general. Preferably leaving a french settlement between you and rome. Rome might get military access from france and they can fuck you up 2v1 but i think fighting in 1 front will be easier rather then getting sandwiched between mighty romans and pathetic celts. Good luck.

Ah, its so good to see this again, and now with Rome in high quality. Ill be honest i am still kinda bummed that you never went out into later games, though i guess Empire was next, but its what made me go out to invade countries in all other games with... varying deegres of success.

Honestly the only thing that genuinely upset me was them removing the original from the store, especially *before* the game released. Literally the day I was going to buy OG RTW, the remaster was announced. Which I obviously was beyond thrilled about, but it also meant that if I didn’t have my phone, my Rome Total War fix would not have been filled. At least give us the base game *with* the remaster. I can understand not wanting players to exploit the discount, but give me the old game at least to play with while I wait.

Nothing like watching a British man invade France on the 384th day of the 2 week quarantine, even if it has become much a much softer one now

Pgilip hasn't done this since Medieval 2. I'm not saying I needed him to do it in Empire or Napoleon but it would have been a nice touch.

To surpise the gauls , you have to be more inovative first capture Ireland and then use your fleet for atacking spain right on portugal then work your way to center spain and atack those pesky gauls!
