Nice! Ha yep you should recognize a lot of the spots. I used real places for the most part. Though I took some liberties with the underground tunnels in Old Sac 😜

All this apocalypse litt keeps you hanging, some better than others. Lots of repeats in the After the world ends, many incoherences, the 1st being the characters spending most of the time yelling and arguing regardless of the fact ( repeated ad nauseam) that vees are attracted by noise

Oh yes teens can be really good at self-sabotage (I mean, adults are generally experts at this too). There was many a time when I taught public school when a student would yell "Be quiet!" (except, you know, maybe use slightly less nice words) 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just finished book three. Really good story so far. My only problem is the main character and that boy. Keep making out. He is infect and this can be spread through bites. Sure he has the cure. That can be spread and make people sick. They shouldn't keep making out.

As a teen, the person I wanted to make out with the most, is the person I most shouldn't. 😅 As an adult, I agree. I feel their relationship is very one note. I keep thinking "he can't procreate (at least probably shouldn't being contaminated) so there is no future with him". I keep waiting for Amos to die so she can move ahead with Cole. Sure, I'll cry when (if) he does. But I think it's best for forward motion of the book, and mankind in its reality.
