After two years of waiting, I said no to this Solar Octane 2023 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro.

Check out the attention to detail on this build quality.And, this Solar Octane color is incredible. The video doesn't do it justice. The whole vehicle is very well put together as well. Just not enough storage to be a main vehicle for a family of 6.

Haha I agree! My wife would look great in this car! But if I did grad the truck, we’d be heading camping or on road trips in the sequoia and an old toyota camry, also can’t fit gear or coolers very well. And driving together is way more fun. We’ll just keep saving and get her a nice car like a sequoia once we can afford to keep the truck too. That would be the best scenario, it’ll just take a little more time to get there with how expensive cars are nowadays!

I won’t buy a another Toyota Tundra or Sequoia until they put the V8 back in them.

Unfortunately I don’t think that’ll ever happen. All these dang EPA regulations forcing them to do smaller engines with turbos will make it hard to go back. It’s sad because they are less reliable, and really only get 2-3 mpgs better anyways.

As a first gen Sequoia owner, it pains me to NOT recommend the new Sequoia for families with many children/dogs/cargo because Toyota flubbed the rear cargo area so badly. Unless you can work with either a roof box or a bumper box, it won't do.

I like the solid rear axle, so I can see why the back is the way it is. Although maybe the battery is the bigger problem than the axle. I’d have to do a roof box and a bumper box to make it work with how many kids I have.
