How did you settle on cabins opposed to traditional tent and hammock camping? I assume it's more of a revenue stream, but campsites are a far lower cost and impact and more passive income management-wise. With a cabin you'll basically be running a hotel, which is no picnic!
Yes greater revenue stream is the main reason, part of that is because camping is of course very seasonal. Also camping in this forest would still need fair amount of ground work still to make it a good experience. I would definitely consider camping somewhere else, every forest has different potential. As you say it's a lot of work operating cabins but I will have people helping me!
