Not sure where you are but there are grants for planting woods. In Wales the grant includes deer fencing and canes and trees and pays for the upkeep for several years. England has even better grants I think.
Thanks for your comment! We're in Scotland and yes we did get a grant. If you go back through the channel videos they cover from when we bought the land through the planning, grant and planting stages.
