Same here! The aesthetics all asmrtist pull are very pretty and all, but it's kinda hard to focus on the PA with such a bright background, specially with a migraine. This was a very nice change.

You..you just make sense. Your voice is often the soundtrack to my sleep time ritual. I can only imagine how much the landscape of ASMR has changed since you first started. And anybody who is friends with Paul is already on my good list! I'm trying to bring more Travel ASMR to the forefront because I think it has a lot of potential. I hope when its safe to travel again I can try to bring more of this calm travelling peace! @@NathanASMR Yes, it does seem as though the whole ASMR genre becomes a noticeably different world every couple of years. There are things that I miss from back when I started, but there's a lot of newer stuff that I'm grateful for too. (Oh, and I don't know that I'm particularly close friends with Paul-I think we more have a dynamic where I've been overly enthusiastic about him and his work, and he in turn has been very kind and patient with my enthusiasm. I don't want to misrepresent the relationship.) I'm still working my way through your Everglades video, I seem to only be able to manage 5-10 minutes at a time (in the good way). I feel bad for not making it all the way through yet, but I'm going to pin you to the top here in hopes it will at least send a few viewers your way.

@@JBGreenASMR Thats so great to hear. Honestly I'm enthusiastic about Paul's work too LOL. The man is incredibly talented. But yeah its so cool to see the new additions to the ASMR world since it all began. I still like to go back to see some of the old stuff and how it has moved forward. Its a lot like music that way- sometimes I like to go back to the oldies or music from a classic era because the sound is just more "Authentic". But there is definitely room for all those different styles. LOL But there is something special in the way that ASMRtists usually support each other. There are always a few bad apples but people tend to be very kind hearted in my experience. I am so honored to hear you watched and enjoyed the Everglades video. I put in a ton of time and almost got bit by an alligator to record it LOL. I really want to do more "travel" or "outdoor" ASMR because it isn't very common! Looking forward to seeing how your new material progresses as well. It can be really creatively freeing to have a whole new setup and especially with a new outlook on life as well. Hey! Found your channel a few years ago when I was experimenting with ASMR for helping my chronic insomnia, but also, finding so many positive, genuinely nice people out there, also seeing if it could help with my anxiety/depression that I've battled for years. Happily it worked a lot with my insomnia, and a few "extra" special people were able to sort of break thru that almost physical barrier I had been hiding behind when my anxiety or depression hit. It just seemed like a "soul massage" to me. Like someone being able to see where I felt vulnerable and afraid and just kinda put your arm around that part of me that needed love and kindness so much. Thank you so much for being able to help me and so many others. What you do helps a lot of people. Whether you know it or not. You do. Thank you for giving a tiny piece of yourself to all of us who need that help.✌

What if this is a continuation of the Safe House video and a prequel to You're My Favorite Android and in this one we're being assessed whether we're good material to have our consciousness transplanted into a robot and consequently become an android whose only purpose is to serve the organization? What if Energenes is behind all of this and they just haven't developed the AI technology well enough yet, so they're using human intelligence instead? PS: it's kinda unfair, because being such a good actress, JB produces roleplays on another level when compared to other creators. I really felt that she cared in the You're My Favorite Android clip. I feel like I’ve gone to another realm and come back a shapeshifting dragon. My eyes are reflecting in the light, the throat is affected making it seem like possible acid reflux is to blame but nay nay! The ear exam shows abnormalities and lymph node exam reveals scales unseen in my jawline. My temperature and blood pressure are up because why wouldn’t they be from such an altered state? The results are in and if this dragon doesn’t get to it hoard nest for snoozing, I’m liable to get grumpy and shift! Lead on Doc.

I absolutely adore your ASMR twists that unfold a story. One of my favorites is when you realize the viewer wasn't human (after looking at the arm injury). I'd love to see one of these where, as opposed to leaving them very open-ended as to what happened, you answer some of the questions you usually leave up to interpretation. You're just such a powerful storyteller that I'd be equally as fascinated to hear how you envision the backstory to be. Hope you're staying comfy :))

I remember someone said on here that your voice is your superpower. They also said you would make a good supervillain because after hearing you people either fall asleep or just do whatever you want. You could do more roleplays based on this. Whenever I hear it, my body just relaxes even if I don’t want it to. I don’t understand it, but that just makes me like it more, as if a magic spell is being cast on me. I wonder what the science behind it is...asmr is not fully understood by science.

This reminds me of a specialist who looked at my xray results and said "Yikes" before examining me whilst making concerned muttering noises and I was just sat there thinking "welp this isn't great". He also came out with "your brain is surprisingly normal... considering."
