"Here's a clue; yes we did." Had me cracking UP man! Thanks for the informative vid, you taught me everything I know about Yawg. Due to my budget I am using a list of yours from a year ago (no Orcs or Sheoldred, but I replaced Birds with Delighted Halflings >< lol) but it still rocks and surprises people at the LGS. Due to your training, I look for them lines like a French person looks for fine wine. Thanks man and keep on having fun!
Glad I got some laughs out of you! Entertainment is always my first goal 😊 “Look for them lines like a French person looks for fine wine” 😂🤣😂 I should hire you to write my scripts lol Glad I was able to help! Still cranking out a ton of Yawg content in the member’s section and in my patreon! Love the deck more than ever!!
This reminds me of a version I've seen long time ago with Insolent Neonate, Splendid Reclamation and a dredge package. Did you consider a Life from the Loam and other dredge cards to fill the graveyard quickly?
The original version I tested had Loams…also had a white splash for knight of the reliquary. As you saw, the deck doesn’t really need the help of loam to fill up the graveyard. Does just fine without it 🙂
If valakut ETBs at the same time as all of your other lands does it count every land simultaneously for a trigger if you dryad all your lands into mountains or just every other land after 5? Definitely love this build. Wonder if going into Jund could speed it up a bit more? Gives you access to a few extra fun cards too
I've been thinking about this deck for a few days and don't really have the budget to afford picking up a set of The One Ring at the moment. Would Titania, Voice of Gaea and Argoth, Sanctum of Nature be possible good additional win cons in place of some of the slots for The One Ring? Both Cards have synergy with a lot of the cards in the deck.
I played against a version last night that had archdruid’s charm, and it was pretty good. I would try those, and add another valakut to the list, If you can. You could also play explore in those slots instead.
@@Control4DazeI played this deck the other night for FNM, borrowing some rings, and have to say rings are a must! I did try a single of Titania, Voice of Gaea and Argoth, Sanctum of Nature and found it to feel a lot better than Titania, Protector of Argoth. Is there any plans to continue playing/fine tuning this deck? Land based strategies are some of my favorite strategies and this deck kinda feels like legacy lands for modern.
Sure. Dredge is a fast graveyard deck. If you can’t interact with their graveyard, you die. The 7 and 6 card hands did not interact at all. I would’ve been dead by turn 3 had I kept.
Any search card that doesn't involve Convoke, may be a hard sell to Mr. 4Daze. Triple green is asking a lot and this deck seems like it could do it, but it's a tight list and it seemed he only lost the one match by being too slow by 1 turn. Search only slows down the game plan, as much as I love it in a combo based list. Might be fun to try (once my list comes in the mail :)
@@Control4DazeI’d probably take the Titanias out for a couple of copies and just try it like that, I believe that consistency and flexibility could be better than the angle Titania offers for its cost, but maybe it’s true that the list doesn’t offer any more room for the card.
"The way [Azorious Control] wins is drawing the game out and boring you to death." Completely agree, but looking at your username/pfp I can't help but feel conflicted. 💀💀💀
@@Joker22593 in a lands tutor deck it's difficult to have one Boseiju, Who Shelters All and reclamation can't be Tishana's Tidebinder (easy to find a counter to everything ;) )
