Hello my dear friends today we will be traveling along gulf shore Drive in North Naples Florida. Starting at Morey Bay beach shower at the north end driving south to the Ritz Carlton Beach resort at the south end this whole strip of land was under 12 to 15 feet of water from the Gulf of Mexico as a result of hurricane in making landfall on September 28. All but a few of these residents on the first couple of floors in these condos have lost everything. Power still has not been restored to any of these buildings, a few of the condos have giant generators on trailers outside of their building which is enough power to allow their elevators and emergency lights to operate so that people can go back-and-forth to their apartments to do work or retrieve goods from their apartments. The damage from the storm is unlike anything that I have ever seen and I have witnessed hurricane Andrew in 1992, hurricane Irma in 2017 and now hurricane Ian. Witnessing and seeing the widespread damage in person is unlike seeing the damage in news videos or on RU-vid like this video. The damage is 100 times worse in person. This has scarred my heart forever especially since I have a few good friends that have lost everything. Please pray for all hurricane Ian victims.
