Good stuff. If you have crc contact cleaner you can spray it on a rag and clean the start section. Also the overhang at the start might be lifting your track a bit. If you cut it like Brandon SRC, you might get closer times on each lane
That vette and all the new stars and stripes cars, along with the neon speeders from this year are all made in Thailand, which in my mind makes them matchbox cars branded as hot wheels. I don't deal with graphite, but ungraphited, matchbox cars tend to be slower than malaysia and indonesia made hot wheels. In my last video, i raced them all and a few other cars i opened up. And a 25 yr old pontiac rageous blew the doors off all of them.
I think it depends on the car as well. The Karma that came out last year seems to be a decent runner. Thailand is definitely slower than Malaysia and China.
@@dxpdiecastracing , yea i have one of those karmas and for a matchbox, it is quick! I also have a matchbox viper that is quite fast . Always has to be those one or two exceptions to the rule to keep us on our toes.
It’s foam rubber. Just something I had easy access to. The strip in the middle is weather stripping. I think the black makes the track standout pretty well.
Agree there are several different ways to do it. I really like how the Pledge leaves a really slick surface and for me, it cleans really well. But everyone’s process is different.
