It's not just the administration.....it's the entire system, the way it is set up, and the fact that the beast has grown to such proportions it can't even work with its own internal works. It is overgrown. It's out of control, and it has gone beyond partisan influence. The US government has become overgrown, invasive, and out of control, just like kudzu gone wilder. Voting is no longer the answer, because the system has too many working parts and will do what it wants regardless of how the people vote. Toss in the lies and deception and greed, and you have a completely corrupt system that is nothing like what the founders intended, and is a giant 'every-man-for-himself' monster. There only one fix for this. And it ain't pretty or easy. But it needs to happen. And if it doesn't, then it's just a matter of time before it implodes upon itself and dies. Either way, it's going to be painful, and difficult for the citizenry. But either way, it IS going to happen. A nation divided against itself shall not stand. Hmmmm.....now who said that, and why? It's time for the United Stayes of America, as a nation and a world presence, to get her comeuppance. She's about 50 years overdue, by world empire standards.

Drove from Asheville to Boone today. I saw just the opposite people helping everywhere. Search, rescue, recovery in all types of vehicles and on foot. Power companies moving throughout the region. Food, water free fuel all around the Black Mountain area. NCDOT and others on the bridges and roads. Police, Fire, FEMA National Guard. A variety of helicopters in the air across the region. Not sure how far up the mountains and valleys they have accessed but the people I saw were all working together trying to help if they are not to the top of the mountain yet I would think they are working to it.

@@marysewitsky4823 No the government is not interfering in anything. Why spread this kind of lies to others who maybe have not been found or whatever. The area up there is massive destruction. The helicopter guy who was told to leave or be arrested, was the only one I have heard of. They have a certain area to gather and get told all the information, they have to give the information of who they are not exactly sure what all needs to be gotten so that the police, fire etc. know who is there and what. It is massive the response to some is going to take a long time. It is not like you can just get people out within a few days. It is MASSIVE destruction and there's hundreds and hundreds of miles and people. Check online what the Georgia governor said, check what other republican governors have said FEMA is there and were there a day or two before the storm. The actual TRUTH is out there. Just because it is Biden in the WH does not mean he doesn't care. For Gods sake there is massive ground to cover and roads are destroyed. Stop spreading lies. A military trained chopper pilot and his son found a couple stranded on the side of the mountain. He left his son on the mountain with the husband and brought the wife to safety. Upon landing a jackass fire chief wanted to know what the hell he thought he was doing. When he explained and told the fire chief that the husband was still stranded on the mountain and his own son was there with him, the chief told him that if he came back there with the husband that he would arrest him on the spot! He went back to the mountain, picked up his son, and had to leave the husband stranded--not knowing if or when he would ever be reunited with his wife. That chief was way out of line! I've survived hurricane Betsy, hurricane Camille, hurricane Katrina, and hurricane Ida--along with damned near every one that has hit the southeast coast of Louisiana/Mississippi. I know when someone is being a good Samaritan and risking their lives to help people they have never met. And I know when someone is a territorial asshole that needs to be relieved of his command! Now just because FEMA hasn't made it to your neck of the woods doesn't mean they and thousands of others aren't risking life and limb to get to you. It. Takes. Time. Do what you can to take care of yourself as well as helping your neighbors. Work together. God bless you and your neighbors and be grateful that you are still alive--there are many that are not.

It's very good to see you! I was thinking about you up there earlier and hoping everything was okay in your area but no way to check on you. This disaster is so awful. Praying for you all, sir as I watch this ridiculousness on TV. The whole thing is a disaster on top of a disaster and too many American citizens are paying for it with their well-being and their lives while help is being blocked or delayed, supplies being redirected or held up, the pitiful amount that was offered by the government to those who lost absolutely everything! Absolutely... everything! blocking the satellite signals so families can't connect and reunite with their loved ones, FEMA hotel vouchers being given out but no hotels available. it is very heart-wrenching. I’ve worked for local government for 30 yrs, in my county, when there’s been a disaster, I always welcome citizens to come help. The more saws the better.
Hello Eustace old friend, living way up in the Northern Highlands now, but half my heart and all my heritage still down there in those beloved old mountains. It is mind boggling and heartbreaking to see and hear what has happened. All my love and prayers to all of you who have lost much and suffered so. And yes, all haters and naysayers it's true according to loved ones still there, it was neighbors, friends, church groups etc that rushed in to help, NOT government.
This is also unfortunately a “good” time for scammers and horrible humans to easily take advantage of people. Also an easy way to “case” a place! I’m not in your part of the woods I can’t speak for the people that you’re speaking about but just today my sister almost got caught by scammers. I was wanting to go to Morristown Tennessee to help out the neighbors. My cousin lives there but he said there's no way to get there the roads are closed. I-40 closed until September of 25. So sad. I'm willing to buy equipment

I saw the opposite Government helping clear roads to get the volunteers through to get food and aid to people who lost their homes. Up to my ankles in muck and sewer while fire and rescue help make sure we get our jobs done safely

For those wondering, FEMA only granted the ppl of NC $750 for the loss of their homes, cars, pets, jobs, and in some cases, lives of their loved ones. There was also a helicopter pilot in NC that was attempting to rescue a couple and was threatened arrest of he did so, by the public officials of the town he was in. He was also a firefighter in addition to being a pilot. It was on fox news yesterday, both reports.
THE VOLUNTEERS HAVE POSTED ALL OVER THE NET. THEY WERE STOPPED , THREATENED ETC. TOO MANY PERSONAL ACCOUNTS NOT TO BELIEVE SOMETHING NEFARIOUS WAS GOING ON.
