this is the OG ride at Silverwood here's why: low wait times 5- 20 mins really fun visually pleasing you never get bored of it cons: closes at scarywood
I finally rode this yesterday and loved it. Scary as hell, though! The only frustrating thing about the coaster is that if there is any wind, they won't open it. It was closed for the better part of the day and only opened mid afternoon. Still I was glad I was able to ride it. Braved the beast twice!
Actually, it's relocated from Six Flags Over Georgia when it was put in I believe in 2001. So it can be rougher, but it isn't. It's just a bit jerky here and there. Either way, a great ride!
There's a Vakoma inverted boomerang in Sweden as well in Liseberg called Hangover. I was there as a kid and was too scared back then, but now I want to go back and check it out.
I saw in a chat room with the emiticons, one of them was a head rattling inside a box, and it looked like it was in pain. What you had to type in to get it was :vekoma: :D
Is this ride smooth? I've been on Invertigo at Kings Island and it kinda knocked my head around. Also, Why did B&M decide to build all of their new Hypercoaster trains with the v shaped seating?
Anthony Martinez Aftershock operated at Six Flags Great America as Déjà Vu before relocating to Silverwood. Magic Mountain's Déjà Vu operates at Six Flags New England as Goliath. Although it probably doesn't matter anyway since they're exact clones.
Awesome ride. But don't get your hopes up if you're planning on riding it cause half the time its not even running & when it is running it breaks down a lot...
Alealejandro ya every time I come its working. and I come once a year for the past 4 years. when they first put the damn thing together it had problems but not any more.
The aftershock ride is so intense it was the first ride me and my mom went one stupid idea but after that I did not even go on the panic plunge or any ride after I got off the aftershock and I picked after the ride it was ridiculous do I would not request to go on that ride unless you have a very strong stomach.😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥
+Amber Cammack The lift up is probably the scariest part. Going up backwards takes a lot of people by surprise. The ride up is also pretty fast and there is no delay/hanging between going up and dropping, so before you can realize that you are getting pretty high, it drops you. And then you do it backwards.
