Hello everyone! What did you reckon to this review? Let me know in the comments below! If you enjoyed it be sure to like the video too as it helps my channel a lot :)
Keira, the magnets are not for sticking them to your head, not sure about yours, but my head is not magnetic; the magnets keep the ends together when you are not wearing them. The other thing I find, having used Aftershokz since they first came to market (on my third set), is that anything over 20mph and the air noise over the headphones means you cannot hear much.
Your a champion, I bought this unit after your very informative review. I'm more than very pleased with them. Great when out and about, whether listening to music, podcasts or audio books. You save me a few hundred dollars on what I may have bought. Thank you very much.
I wish I discovered bone conduction headphones much sooner. They're a game changer for me. I use the Aeropex though and they're good. I don't have much trouble with calls outside.
@@duathlete827 I’m glad you’ve confirmed my suspicions. I thought that I’d missed something. If you cycled with a spoon in your mouth, then the magnets would work? No?
Magnets for keeping them securely on your head 😳 I’m super curious to know what effect bone conduction headphones have on the cranial bones, over say the period of time of an average ride / long term usage 🤔
thank you very much for doing this demo I just bought me a couple pair of theese thanky for doing the review thank you for calling in and out on them as well so we can hear how it sounds on phonecalls..
I have tried on Openmove in an offline store before, and I think it is a good entry-level product, but its features are too limited and it is not very comfortable to wear. Later, I chose Openrun Pro and spent a lot of money. But Openrun Pro's water resistance is not high. When I wanted to go swimming, I bought a Wissonly Hi Runner in the end. It has become a must-have item for me, whether for running, cycling, swimming, or GYM
The usb charge connector is not good thing when it comes to reliability. The Aeropex have sealed magnetic connector that is very waterproof and resistant to sweat corrosion. Carrying an extra non standard cable is a pain, but I prefer A more robust connector. I own the Aeropex and use them for cycling and zoom calls...great review!
How do the magnets help stability on your head, unless you have a steel plate in the sides of your head? I want to try something like these but as a glasses wearer they’re out.
They are designed with spectacle wearers in mind, I wear mine with my normal spectacles, my cycling sunglasses and safety glasses I sometimes wear when working in my workshop.
Thanks for the video. Any news regarding the Aftershokz Open Comm and Open Comm Pro ? Release date and price in UK ? EPBMAN already reviewed the Open Comm and I'm very keen. Thanks again.
By the way: just ordered one for a first try out. The Opencomm is a bit too expensive (but makes sense for me due to homework) fir a first trial. Could be interesting for my wife too (she's a nurse on night shifts, must always hear everything around here)
@@richardhampton2830 Sorry they do not work with glasses I did try a set of my friends last year just felt uncomfortable and bulky and made my glasses feel like they were going to fall off and at £400 I dont want to take the risk. Have seen other reviews saying the same no good with glasses.
Hi Keira, is there a difference in sound quality between the Openmove and aeropex? I've been considering buying a pair for ages it's the quality of sound that puts me off
For a regular glass wearer, are openrun (aeropex) better than openmove or are they similar? Getting the openmove for $35 while openrun is $100 this black friday.
I've found these the best for cycling. I've used mine for thousands of miles and I wouldn't use anything else. Now this is going to come down to expectations. Given the functionality of this type of head set expecting them to sound anything like ear buds or over the ear headsets well frankly there's no hope for your dimwittedness. That aside if you keep an open mind and actually consider how they work you'll be happy with them.
Actually coming from high end headphones and speakers I'd say, in earplug mode at least, they sound surprisingly good - notably in terms of imaging. The clarity is pretty good too all things considered, but the highs do of course sound veiled, although fiddling with positioning of how the drivers sit on your face do affect this. Pretty surprising tbh
I own a titanium and after a while, the left speaker started producing extra rattling sounds when playing anything of medium volume or higher. I replaced it using the warranty but the buzzing came back after 2 months. I can only conclude that it is an inherent flaw in the manufacturing and or design. Does this issue appear in your Openmove unit after all this while? If there isn't a problem I am so ready to make the jump.
I find these to be more uncomfortable compared to the Aeropex. I can only wear the OpenMove for a couple of hours before they get annoying. The Aeropex sounds better too. Too bad it's expensive
Her credibility loses when she said that magnet is for your head. 🤣🤣. Those magnets are necessary components use to resonate electric signal and cause the speaker to vibrate. I got mine a week back and listening to music would never be the same again. Having sensitive earlobe and ear canal can cause swelling if earbuds uses for long period of time. I have Apple Pro and bose headsets but this is now my favorite music gadget.
*************PLEASE ANSWER ********I'm doing a project. I need to hear the outside when wearing the headset. and most importantly, can we listen to 8d music.so it sounds good only in in-ear headphones.Need to perfectly understand where the sound is coming from. I have no opportunity to try the product. So does it have perfect stereo capability. if I buy it and it's not what I want it would be wasted. can someone using the product please write. a very important project
Can't help with the rest but I can help with the first part. My boyfriend is a archeologist and he has the titanium ones and he loves them and says he can hear around him when he's out in the field.

Hi Keira! Great test and lovely name! I want to offer the last openrun to my wife. She loves to walk for pleasure. She has long hair and leave them free. I'm wondering if i buy a standard or a small one (don't tell me to measure her head, it's a present for Christmas). I'm also wondering if it has to be under hair or on? Can you advise me?
